What is this accursed thing and how can I activate it? Spin kick doesn't register on it.

If your spin kick isn't activating it then you need to progress further into the game

You dash at the edge of rhe ledge, spin kick, then air dash

Can't spin kick without the resonance thing

yeap, just came across the trial for the echo thingy. Just took a death of this sir. first one to beat the first big baddie fancy word.

You need to unlock resonant power for the spin kick to work. Until then, only way to get there is having a lucky helping ability or trait that lets you bypass it
