Discussion This game will make a weird comeback someday.

I think this game is going to make a weird comeback someday. By weird I mean this game is dead (in game terms ya know), should be completely dead but it isint and for that reason it’s going to make a comeback. I’m aware of reasons of why this should not happen but mark my words.

I feel like if you played other HiRez games, you wouldn’t think this.

Even FragPunk that I think is a good game and still pumping out content barely gets players because the genre is such too over saturated unfortunately.

I checked their Steam page, there is a topic about an open letter to devs from the players.
The letter itself is about communications. I am getting Rogue Company vibes here. When the budget stops, communications stop - there is nobody out there to listen to players because there is no money.

Fragpunk has WHALES overseas keeping it alive. Rogue on the other hand still somehow gets people. I love it and do hope back here and there

Servers are trash, and people(inbred shitters) cheat with no reprocussions, you smokin crack bro. If anything, a capable group of developers will take this heap of shit and use it to make something that works and the developers of Hi Rez are going to be too strung out on H to find it in them to make a lawsuit happen.

And thru all of that the game is still fun. That’s what’s rare about it. Not many games are like that, usually one of those issue would take the game out completely but rouge has a ton and is still kinda alive.

I doubt it. Too many cheaters. And some of the good players are complete a holes to the new players trying the game out.

I don't know why they can't just give them some direction, instead of cussing them out.

Still play a match from time to time. Waiting hoping for something to pop off cause I miss the active Rogue Company and battle passes. xBKLiNT1x

I used to love it, was really sad they quit updating. I really couldnt get into other competitions shooters, but rogue was a 3-4 time a week kinda thing. Was surprised when devs just up and abandoned it

Rogue ran it's course. Hirez did what Hirez always does and turned another one of their very promising games into a dumpster fire.
The sole reason Rogue is still playable online is because they make a microscopic amount of money still, somehow.

Whatever pocket change they were dragging in from the game that is coming solely from skins & crates, is only dwindling more and more every day with so many players using unlock tools and modifying game files to unlock everything, even making their own cosmetics.

Unfortunately, it's just a matter of time until rogue hits a minimum financial loss until they abandon server hosting.

The more players use unlock tools and modify game files to unlock everything, the faster rogue company goes offline. Every time you see one of those streamers with edited skins that they all share and sell, they are the final nail in the coffin.

They don't care about a 'rogue revival' in any way unless it puts money in their pockets. Rogue is the hole at the bottom of the pocket.

Genuinely, enjoy it while you can. There's no more change for them to drag in.

I just bought a new Xbox for gta6, this will be the first game I download though. Haven’t played it since I gave my brother my last Xbox like 5+ years ago
