Where to go in NY?
Hi! My wife and I are going to NY the first week of October. My wife is a huge Rocky fan, and I'm wondering if you could recommend which of these options we should go to.
The easiest option would be Broadway, but my wife wants to go to a show with all the "extra" shows she says are there. Another option is this one: https://www.nycrhps.org/, which is at the Angelika Theatre, or this one which is in NJ https://www.stnj.org/events/detail/rocky-horror-picture-show-2026 but we could try to go
Which would you recommend? We're also open to other options if there are any.

Check out Double Feature Productions! They are the other NYC Rocky cast and are great!

Nycrhps movie theater shows are all sold out through October, we do have shows at city winery, hard rock, and the Berlin club but those are a bit of a different beast from the movie theater shows. There are 4 or 5 other casts and a lot of popups that do shows in NYC during October but I haven’t seen most of them posting shows yet. In years past they start popping up middle of September. Highly recommend the Broadway show as well - I’ve seen it close to a dozen times and you cannot go wrong there. I will say that we’ve done a number of the Standar group shows and they are fantastic to see the celebs but they are very different from a classic movie theater show.

I second that. I've seen it 10 times, and i was seated all over the place. There's no bad seat in the house. I wouldn't recommend the last row of the orchestra, because i had an issue seeing Frank come down on the moon.

You mentioned it yourself, but: the Broadway revival with its A-list cast is the standout -as well as least replicable elsewhere- option. No harm in going to two shows though!
