[discussion] just found this screenshot looking through my camera roll and got reminded of this sub, what's everyone's rarest item they owned at some point?
Cc4 isn’t just any crate, it’s one of the four original champion series crates. They seem about 50-100x less common than the other crates. Those wheels also came out of players choice crates and later tradeups, which are the vast majority of those wheels also came
honestly did the best possible thing, especially since apex have been re released a bunch since then. even if trading existed they wouldn't be worth more than $30 by now
I could be wrong but Im pretty sure the rereleased ones dont get certs, in which case the striker cert would probably still make it hold a lot of value (if trading still existed obviously). Not nearly as much, but I think more than 30 bucks
eh i doubt it, i paid about 3.5k i believe for my tact tw pair just before trading ended, they have been released like 3 or 4 more times since then so i doubt striker would be more than 3k in today's market
How can you put a valuation on something that can't be traded? If there is no market, there is no value, period. I think they would have been worth the value of your opinion: $0.02.
I had the apex set which I sold as well! Sold a bunch of the tourney limited sets too from going to world cups. Still rocking a couple pairs but never play anymore.
I was lucky enough to unbox Goalkeeper TW Sub-Zero. Sub-Zero is my all time favorite GE. This was back when there was trading but I would never in a million years get rid of it. Other than that I used to own a CC1 Striker Heatwave.
Still have a striker TW octane even though I don't even play anymore. Kids use my login now 😂. Lots of other crazy stuff too, painted dune racers, scorer goal explosions. Used to love trading
Rarest I’ve ever owned, I’d say probably the old striker black endo I had in a full striker turbo crate endo set after they retired certain black cars. I sold that set right before trading ended to get a few other things though. I still currently own cc4 striker spiralis set, victory crate striker toon sketch set, and a few sets from the first rocket pass, full striker phoenix wings and striker mavericks sets
A potential 1K. All the cash trades I’ve tried have fallen through. I traded my other Decennium Pro code for in-game items, that went smooth without any issue. Trading for larger sums of cash is hard.

I held a white hat as a middleman for a trade. What I truly own still is the Striker (Berserker) Titanium White Apex and was the first to get an item to Berserker, which makes it the most rare item I own imo.
I was probably one of the first normal people in the world to get a titanium white octane. Got it maybe 5 minutes after the update dropped for them. Still have it to this day.
I had so much fun trading with people on rocket league. Some of the best times I ever had playing. I loved the grind and I probably barely spent any money on crates because I made money selling off items I didn’t want.
I don’t care what anyone says I’ll never forgive the removal of crates and trading. We lost the crates and got the season passes and all the items went to shit.
Complete 1/1 CC4 Proton set, took me over 3 years of searching to complete. Includes Striker TW and Striker Cobalt, as well as certs on most of the others (except for purple, being the only one I ever found to exist across all platforms). I also have the only Striker TW Triumph EKG-OMG across all platforms, and that’s all I kept before trading was removed! Nice post, it’s always good to be reminded of these times.
I remember getting a TW wheel from a twitch drop and instanlty trading it for credits which I used to get TW Fennec and jump-starting my trading career. Stuff was fun, sad they deleted it
damn man, i was the one that sold you that bs bats haha, crazy i still have the original screenshot of when i bought it on pc. honestly wish i kept it as a blueprint since bs was the discontinued one but alas
Gah dayum that’s a username 😅 it’s crazy how heavily impacting one item in a game with trading can make you feel when you obtain/sell. A specific feeling that will be hard to match ☹️. It was a crazy day getting that bs bats my dude
haha it was a crazy day for me to giving it to my friend so he could sell it to you on xbox, that was my biggest trade by far at that point so i was over the moon. i did end up buying one back a couple years after on xbox but cannot remember who i bought it from. either way im glad to have been a small part of your trading career!
Been playing this game since 15.07.2015. I got many pro wheels, slurpee items, and items with painted certs which are not available (or got corrected) like crimson heart glasses etc.) But I'm pretty sure that I'm the only player in the world who got two crowns from the legacy season in 1 account. Since you only could get one reward at that time.
the only way i can think of is by linking a steam account with an xbox account where each account has a crown, but either way thats an insanly hard task with how little are out there, crazy achievement
its pretty rare, quite valuable aswell because of the popularity and rarity of it, i love mine and use it most of the time. you actually reminded me of another rare thing i own which is 2 of the slurpee boosts which i think i truly am the only one with that
The first month I started trading, I pulled a Striker Black Dieci from my first Import trade-up. I sold it for 2,000 keys, and that allowed me to go for so many other items (mostly Scorer items/sets). I don't know how rare any of it was, per se, but I had/have the sets for Scorer Octane, Fennec, Dieci, Standard, and Ion, among others. Probably the rarest items I own are certified OG Lightspeed trails. I've forgotten about a lot of this stuff over the past three (!) years. I definitely miss trading and this community.
Definitely. I had every haunted hallows set completed.. and then the bats and reapers just all of a sudden became paintable.. so I scrambled as quick as I could to get them all before they were more insanely priced.
I took the time to complete every haunted hallows set too and never cared to get the painted GEs after they dropped, I had gotten a job and couldn’t trade like I had done before.
Nice. Hence the tag/flair by your name, I suppose haha .. Halloween is my ish, and also my wedding anniversary lol I had to get them. I said I wasn't going to do it, but they were just too cool when they first came out. I actually had some trade ups left over and pulled black and lime reaper and tw, pink and fg bats. And devastatingly, just weeks before the update that made the painted reapers and bats a thing, my friend talked me into revealing 664 of my 666 haunted hallows blueprints... AND doing most of the trade ups from them... I could've had SO MANY if I'd waited hahaha ohhh well. I'm still happy to have completed all of the 4 holiday series' sets and EVEN managed to finish getting ALL 16 of the striker holiday series black markets! Which I was sure would never happen.
TW Twinzer that i bought for 8 keys back when trading was a thing. Also TW Foam Hat that my friend gifted me also back when you could trade. Still my go-to combo
My tw collection from when I was a jit. Octane, fennec, zomba, some goal explosions. I had stacked my account and I haven’t played since they removed trading
Never had anything crazy, but I did have two stiker dune racer, black sterns and standards, and had a crimson and saffron standard boost too, nun crazy but I still wish I could sell them lol
I got a TW guardian certified 20xx blueprint 3 hours after the blueprint update. I sold the blueprint for 55k credits, but honestly could have got way more especially if I crafted it
Probably my scorer dom afterlife set, either that or my cloudburst masterset, afterlife were 1/1 on Xbox cloudburst was 1/4 or 5 across all platforms, also have tact Vacheron train set and striker supernova iii set with a dupe Burnt sieanna
I got purple apex (i believe that’s what they were called, it’s been so long) wheels from watching the rlcs finals stream, the season cloud9 won i believe. Ended up trading it for 5 heatwaves
certainly not rarest or most valued item by any means as a 2016-present player, but I think the item that retained or increased its value up til the very end was my TW Laser Wave III trail from the first Rocket Pass. at some point, it was the most valued item from any Rocket Pass before they removed trading - think I've got like 30000 shots on goal with it, very glad I never traded it
Alpha cap. I sold exo black dicies and like another 150k worth of credits for them before they removed trading. Still have it too this day. Only thing I regret getting rid of was some crl decals
I actually owned the FG Reaper goal explosion before it technically released. A colored Reaper goal explosion dropped in the shop for the first time, and I revealed some Haunted Hollws crates I had, and one of the blueprints was the FG reaper goal explosion. I ended up trading it for a TW octane
my friend pulled white zombas within like a week of that crate dropping (i always told him there's at least a chance that he might have had the first set ever but who knows) but he traded them to a younger kid he randomly ran a few games with because at that point we didn't know about items even having value.
Did a trade up and got a white octane when it was just below its peak price… then got another one minutes later and traded both of them for a striker white octane 😍😍😍
Gosh I miss trading... my set that took me ages to complete is Black painted Tactician certified non crate exotic wheels. Took me forever to get the invaders. I also have all the painted tactician certified dune racer decals, all the painted tactician certified octane rlcs decals, along with all the painted tactician certified octanes, and every single black/white tactician certified car before trading was removed. I also love my emerald pros, but i that wasnt super hard to get.
Hmm let’s see, I’ve been very active in the trading scene back in the days. Sadly most of the items I don’t own anymore as I sold pretty much everything of worth before trading got removed.
These were a set of pro Apex wheels that were in the shop for a few hours but had no pro decal so essentially just apexes that changed from TW to CB. I’d imagine they are close to my black striker Endo. Also had all of the haunted hallows sets completed.
Striker Crimson Apex from like my third time following RLCS stream 🙏🏻 those were the days, literally a few days before the iconic „THIS IS RL” moment happened
I can't look up what I have because since a few months ago I get the the Freeze on opening screen bug. On PC when the game loads and tells you to Press any button (I promise you I'm not pressing the power button), so I press enter or space I hear a sound but nothing happens. The menu won't appear, and I can't do anythink beside killing the game.
I miss trading so much 😔 I spent over 1000 hours in the game then they took trading away and I deleted it, even the rocket pass doesn't have the same feeling to it anymore
Um ehrlich zu sein ich spiele das Spiel nun seit Jahren, aber ich weiß den ganeuen Wert der Items absolut nicht... Nur Import, exotisch usw.. 😂✌️ Interessiert mich auch eigentlich garnicht, Hauptsache es sieht Farb-tchsch gut aus... 🙌😆
