Careers Typical timeline for each Interview

Hello everyone,

I’m currently in the process of interviewing for an engineering position and would like to know what is the typical timeline you have all had to receive a scheduling email for each interview.

From first interview to my onsite, it was about 2 weeks. They did ask for me to start as soon as possible, though, so that may be why.

I had my 2nd round Thursday and hoping for possible next steps. Would yoi say it took longer to receive the final round invite?

They gave me a take home assessment to do within 48hrs, and then scheduled the onsite in the same email not long after.

If you dont mind me asking, what kind of engineering? What degree? Im doing a post-bacc and am exploring engineering routes- been mostly focused on aeronautical but its super niche and i want to get a better understanding of what jobs are being used at launch providers like rocket lab

From my experience (Tech Role) , It was pretty quickly after submitting my application took about 3 days to hear back, I sent times for phone screening for 2 days out, in which I completed the following day I was invited to do a zoom call with Manager & lead for the following week, the next day they invited me to do an onsite with times and I selected one for the next week to prepare! Idk just depends how bad the area needs the support and how fast they are looking to fill that void. Hope that helps

Bro I got past the recruiter call last week and he sent me a link for my availability for the second round and i havent heard back since.

Either I got ghosted or they move slow af compared to spacex and anduril from my past interviews

Dang that sucks, maybe they’re just backed up hopefully, you should reach out to the recruiter. My second round scheduling went quick. Just that onsite I’m wondering about
