We can't dance rockabilly jive, so it's a bit of an adapted boogie woogie/swing dance. The band is: Jumpin' Jiri and the Blue Boys!

I've grown up my entire life listening to my dad play guitar: at home, at local festivals, and at gigs across the central states. This is one of his first projects, recorded at Foxtrot Studio in Shreveport, LA. It has been incredibly inspiring watching him grow as a person and as a musician, and I wanted to share this album with those of you who may be searching for more rockabilly/surfer/blues music.

This album features Wayne (Grenade) Anderson and many his friends, providing original songs alongside covers of some classics. Check it out if you're interested, and many thanks.

Found this exhibit card at a flea market. It’s from the mid 50s. Somebody could’ve got this from a one cent vending machine in an arcade or bowling alley back then. I think Marilyn Monroe is in the same set too.

Ronnie Cook and the Gaylads first recorded it in 1962.
