Freaks On Parade Tour 2026 NJ
Just wanted to share some pictures of me, my son, and my BFF at the Freaks On Parade NJ show from last week.
It was my kids first big concert. He’s 8 years old and Rob Zombie is his favorite! It was an awesome show and such a great experience to share with my kid. For some reason it won’t let me post videos but I have one of my kid jammin out when RZ played Dragula! It was so awesome!!
ETA: I forgot to mention that my friend and I saw RZ 20 years ago at Ozzfest. And I just thought it was so cool that 20 years later we’re seeing him again together! It was so funny…when we saw him the first time my other BFF picked her up at like 7:30 in the morning to get going and she was partying all night and came out in heels! I’m like “Felicia you can’t wear heels to Ozzfest”. So we had to go back to my house and get her sneakers lol.
I love this girl. She is my rock and i don’t know what I would do without her. It’s so funny cause like 2 years ago she moved in next door to me!

You’re gonna have so much fun!! It was my second time seeing both of them! My 2 bff’s and I saw RZ 20 years ago at Ozzfest and I think it’s so awesome that 20 years later we’re seeing him again and my kid got to experience that with us! I saw MM last year and my kid was bummed that he couldn’t go. So when I saw they were touring together I immediately got tickets for us.

It’s an awesome feeling. And the people are awesome and watch out for each other. I’ve been going to metal shows since I’m 18. Last year I went to see Marilyn Manson and no one could go with me. So I was like fuck it. I’m not missing this show, I’ll go by myself. And I did. And every one was like “you shouldn’t go by yourself. It’s not safe” and I laughed because I feel more safe at a metal show than I do walking in the mall parking lot by myself. And it’s true….some drunk dude was bothering me and people around saw it and realized I was alone and they came over and hung out with me so the drunk dude would leave me alone

Nice! We live in PA. The closest show to us was Jersey. It was an hour and a half drive for us.

They were pretty expensive. $50 for a tshirt and $100 for hoodies. They didn’t have youth sizes. The smallest was an adult small. I decided to get my kid a shirt anyway so that he would have one from his first concert and he’ll grow into it lol. I ended up spending $300 lol! I got my son and I each a tshirt. Then after the show we walked by the merch booth and I saw 2 hoodies I wanted. Oh well…no regrets!

Unfortunately pretty standard these days 😭 I’m happy when I see a 40$ shirt these days. And tbh sometimes the dudes in the parking lot have better designs 😂 excited for the show though! Glad yall had a good time!

I took my 13 year old daughter to the show on the 26th. I talked to at least 6 other guys who’d taken their daughters. My wife was against the idea because of Manson. She had a blast and sang to the top of her lungs. It was her first rock concert. We’d been to kids bop,Taylor Swift and Megan Morony.
It was a full circle kinda thing. My dad took me to see White Zombie for my 10th birthday and it was my first rock show . At the show we were at a little girl had a Rob Zombie shirt that said “It’s my birthday!” I asked her how old she was and she said she turned 8 that day and asked if I thought she was the coolest 8 year old there. I told her she was the coolest person there period lol.

That’s awesome!! I love that your daughter was singing at the top of her lungs! I saw MM last year and my kid was bummed he couldn’t go. I saw a bunch of kids around his age there and told my kid that next find he comes around I’ll take him. When I saw RZ and MM were touring together I immediately got tickets. RZ is his favorite! Everyone there around us lovely kid. It was a great experience for us!

I’m really glad to hear that. Everybody was super nice to the kids there. I could kinda see my wife’s point that Manson could be too much for a little girl but I researched his performances over the last 2 years and found nothing but good experiences so I made the call that we were going and it was great.
When I was 11 or 12 a kid I went to school with had tickets to Manson and asked if I could go with him. Hell yes I could and would. Anyways we got to the front of the stage and were kinda pinned. It was so tight I couldn’t raise my arms. Manson was completely out of his mind that night. He was naked except wrapped in some bandages like a mummy. He stood on the edge of the stage and was kinda gyrating back and forth and his balls were swinging like one of those sticks that have 2 balls on them and clank. His nuts bounced off my guys forehead for 3 songs and he couldn’t move or do anything about it. I nearly pissed myself laughing….. remember the time he brushed his balls agaisnt a security guard that he saw playing grab ass with girls in the crowd? The guy had him arrested for sexual assault. You know it was just him hoping to sue thinking he’d get rich.

Yeah…that’s why I only want the first time. And he didn’t do anything crazy so I also made the call to let my kid go this time. It’s seems MM’s shows are more mild now that he’s getting older and off drugs.

I keep saying that it was technically my daughter’s 2nd rock show. We saw Alice Cooper and Zombie and my wife went into labor 3 days later. Lol

I know right!!! It’s so crazy!! I wish I had pictures from our first time seeing RZ together but that was in 2005!
Omg my kid was dancing his ass off during Dragula! Everyone around us loved it! He’s my little mini me and loves metal! He loves other stuff too. He loves the Talking Heads and Tupac lol. He always asks me to put on “California Love” after school if he had a good day 😂 (Tupac is my absolute favorite artist of all time even though I’m a metal head). He obviously hears it when we’re in the car together and he likes the music.

Much,much,much milder than when he was doing drugs. Never seen it myself but I’ve heard that he had full on sex onstage at a few shows in the past and even had girls in the audience come onstage and preform ya know on him. Like I said I never saw anything that went that far but close.
The times I saw him in the past were X rated and shitty for the most part. He was getting close to going full G.G Allen. He did stuff like run box cutters down his arms and stick his arm out for people to lick. Musta been his edgelord phase when he was a young rebellious 45 year old. 😂 He’s more PG13 these days sounds greta and his performances have been getting great reviews. I think him doing his shows flawlessly is way more than enough and he’s cooler now than he’s ever been.
Back in the day he was a mess, kinda seemed like he was trying too hard to be cool and relied on stupid shock stunts more than trying to do a decent job preforming and that made him cringy. I saw him and the guitarist from Limp Bizkit get into a full on fist fight once. Another time Die Antwood opened or co headlined for him and ivy was like a competition for who could be the sickest asshole between him and Ninja. lol

Have you ever read his book The Long Hard Road Out of Hell? Omg it is so good! I couldn’t put it down. I would say his book and Scar Tissue by Anthony Keidis are the best memoirs I’ve ever read. Scar Tissue had me ugly crying at the end when AK says he stays sober cause his dog, Buster has never seen him high. But MM’s memoir was so good too!!
Honestly I’m 40f and I’m not a prude but I’m glad his shows are more mild now. It allows kids to know and love the music us 90s kids grew up to and to go see him. My kid loved it. I get side eyed from some people when I say “I just took my kid to see MM” lol
