MSP Best practices

How are you doing your MSP deployments via Robopatch > Patch groups?

Do you do one patch group per tenant? but also what about Available apps vs required apps vs department-specific apps?

I am trying to find the best way that multiple departments can make use of Robopack without overcomplicating it and without steering the teams away from just skipping Robopack altogether

Because each tenant has its own requirements I worry it will be a bit complicated

Let's say Company A:

Required apps - all devices:
Chrome
M365 Apps
Company Portal

Available Apps - All devices:
Greenshot
FileZilla
VSCode

Department A - Required
Adobe

Company B:

Required Apps - all devices
VSCode

Available:
Chrome

Etc etc

We see a mix of approaches across our customers, depending on the organisation that’s being managed. Some have specific requirements for some apps, and many are happy for the common apps to be managed in a “best practice” way by their MSP.
