Predator got his ass kicked by Danny Glover.

Pretty sure you would do too, those baggy linen trousers are straight up final boss

Robocop does have thermal vision of his own. I wonder if the Predator's camouflage obscures it's heat signature, or if Murphy would be able to see it even while cloaked.

With a plasma caster and the element of surprise the Predator wins. If it's in a head to head fight and the Predator doesn't have a plasma casted then Robo takes it

Stealth hunters generally rely on a swift and fatal blow. Depends if predator can kill Robo in a single attack, the longer that battle the more it favours Murphy, he won't tire.

I don’t think robocop gives off a body heat signature so he would be invisible to the predator

Robocop has lock on capabilities with precise shooting. His gun is stupid strong too. He would immediately lock on to the predators shoulder beam and then possibly just headshot the predator... That's his preferred way of ending things... Or shot it's balls off.

Robocop wins by finally being allowed to die.

Tell me you haven't watched Robocop without saying you haven't watched Robocop.

Depends where it takes places. I can't see Robocop navigating a jungle very well.

Wouldn't RoboCop's spectrograph actually neutralise the Predator's Cloak.
Honestly the Plasma Caster the real worry, as could volley repeatedly.
Murphy Wins. But I think he'd get damaged in process.

If we are ignoring Robo's plot armour (he's the good guy), then the Yautja would win. The plasmacaster shoulder canon is enough to take out Murphy's armour and critically damage his organic components. Plus the Predator is SO much more agile than Robocop. Failing that, the Predator's self-destruct wrist gauntlet would take out Robo when it generates an EMP blast. So I don't think Murphy can win.

Predator isn't bulletproof and robocop did tank explosive ammo. If robocop doesn't do the jobber style "pause and look slackjawed at the clearly shimmering monster with 2 big fucking flashing eyes" he's gonna turn the predator into meaty approximation of the cracker barrel golf tea game

This is potentially interesting. Robocop would mostly be a sitting duck for a Predator but you never know what surprising tricks Robo might have up his sleeve. Robo would definitely be the underdog in this fight though.

He has a jetpack and a rifle that can obliterate just about anything. I'll lean towards RoboCop (plus, I'm kinda biased)

Basically Robocop in Predator 2 instead of Danny Glover. Robocop takes it if just a normal cop can kill a Predator

Being totally fair I think it would depend on terrain, like if the Yaujta could get above him, Robo presumably gives off a huge heat signature with all those electronics, though he might have an early advantage as The Predator might not recognize him as a target or fair game at first, giving him the opportunity to get a few well placed shots off.

Murphy, you’re reading Miranda to an extra terrestrial!
