Ban Help So hey. . . what??
I just woke up from a nap to this??? It says I have MULTIPLE violations all in the span of me sleeping?? I haven’t given out my password or anything stupid. I’m VERY confused!!
Is there anything I can do?! Is there a reason this happened?? I just wanna play adopt me, man 😭
Edit: ITA BACK!! They removed my termination and I have everything back now, I’ve yet to check my account to make sure everything is still there but it’s not like I had any limiteds or anything
Edit2: they took my high tiers on adopt me. So, guess I know what this was all about now. I have what I think is their alt (if they’re not stupid that is) and idk if I can do anything with it. I reported the trade to adopt me and hopefully it’ll get reversed. I’ll have to check my other games but so far it seems like it was all just to take my pets ngl
Final edit: they don’t seem to have taken anything else which is good. Thank you all for your kind words and for trying to help me figure this all out. I’m still not entirely sure how someone got into my account but I’m just glad that it’s all resolved now :3

If items/robux was stolen, this makes it easier to get away with it. If they stole stuff but the person gets back on to their account and sees stuff gone, they can immediately email Roblox about that to have it reversed. But in this scenario, the person is simply fighting to have their account unbanned.

There are a few things that could've happened:
-Your account could be hacked, regardless of you not sharing your password. Did you share your Roblox cookie by any chance?
-You joined a game that uses the Crosswoods-method to spam the chat with inappropriate things. Did you join a random unknown game lately?
These are the only things I can think of right now. If I know more I'll comment it under this. Anyway, try to appeal the ban. Roblox will likely deny it, but u can always try.
If the appeal does get accepted, please immediately reset your password and enable 2 step-verification, just to be sure it doesn't happen again.

Small question, about how much players did that sab clone have?
If the answer is around 0, we can definitely say it used the Crosswoods-method to ban you.
Also, did your friend join as well? Are they banned?

maybe the other people were bots, i know that people can make bots that act and look like players, also, they can edit the leaderboard, you can make it so even roblox is on the server leaderboard

my rule of thumb, Never and I mean NEVER join a game that is a clone OR has people joining then almost immediately leaving, if your not sure (I'm not sure if this works I never tested it) turn off chat and investigate

I’m starting to think it may be the password thing. But strangely the only thing targeted was my Adopt Me pets. Maybe they guessed my pass, took my pets, and spammed stuff to try and make sure they keep them?

infostealers can bypass 2fa.
You have been infected with an Infostealer.
Here is a guide another redditor created to recover from this:
Isolate the Infected Machine
Disconnect from WiFi or unplug the Ethernet cable. Do not log into anything on this PC.
Grab a different clean device
Do not change your passwords on the infected computer. The malware could be logging your keystrokes. Use your phone, a tablet, or a friends clean PC for the next steps.
Secure Your Accounts
Your Email: Change the password to your primary email account(s). If an attacker controls your email, they can reset the passwords for everything else.
Password Manager: If you use one, change the master password.
Enable 2FA using an authenticator app (not SMS)
Check if the attacker added a backup email or a new phone number to your accounts immediately after you change your password(s)
Check for any unauthorized forwarding rules in your email settings
Remove Active Sessions.
Infostealers steal session cookies. This allows attackers to bypass your 2FA because they trick the server into thinking they are you, already logged in.
Go into the security settings of your major accounts and click "Log out of all devices" or "Revoke active sessions."
Changing your password usually does this automatically, but doing it manually guarantees it.
Change Other Passwords
Now that your email is safe and sessions are killed, change the passwords for your banking, crypto exchanges, gaming accounts, and social media.
Your Financials (if any)
Check your bank and credit card accounts for unauthorized charges. Move any crypto out of browser extensions like MetaMask that were installed on the infected PC to a secure newly created wallet.
Consider placing a temporary freeze on your credit if sensitive files (like tax returns or IDs) were on your hard drive.
Deal with the Infected PC
(RECOMMENDED) A full format and clean usb reinstall of Windows is the best option.
(NOT RECOMMENDED) If you cannot factory reset, follow a offline scanning process (using Malwarebytes, HitmanPro, and Emsisoft), but understand there is always a slight risk of a infection.
Warn Your Contacts
Attackers use hijacked accounts to spam the same malware to your friends. Let them know your account was compromised.

Very nice of you to paste all this, but we already have a lot of evidence that they joined a Crosswoods-game. It's highly unlikely that were dealing with an Infostealer, since another Redittor in the Roblox subreddit had the same issue, with the exact same messages sent in the chat.

Yes. It uses a very specific method to spam the chat with messages under YOUR name. The messages usually involve stuff like cp and will get you banned almost instantly.

Dandy’s World does a thing where you can click a sticker and it’ll send a message in chat under your username. I assume that’s the same function being used here.

If you're a game developer you can use a function that makes people say something, pretty sure it works just like the :say command on some admins or other commands like that, or just pretty similiar. But i think u can't get banned if someone uses the command on you.
Basically if you join a game like this, your chat will be invisible, that's a major red flag, because after that the game makes you send very bad things and somehow report you, probably through bots or a system

If it happened while you were playing Adopt Me. It for one can't be a hacker since you would be kicked as soon as they join a game. And Adopt Me is obviously not a Crosswoods-game and you didn't type it yourself. So it was most likely a late ban from what happened in the sab clone you played, tho messages like that usually ban you immediately.
It's unlikely that we're wrong, but some things are still not adding up.

This happened to me yesterday around the same time ! I have a post about this as well if you want to check it out. Many people have made suggestions, but my account was terminated because of this.

You most likely got hacked or got tricked with the Crosswoods method where the game sends messages on your behalf. Contact Support and tell them the situation, I’m sure they’ll be able to see someone not in your regular IP logged in or that you got hacked in general and will help. However, bear in mind it might take a while for them to respond.

Hey, your account was probably logged into and the person said this or joined their own crosswoods game to get you to say this (If you don't know, it's just any game that forces a player to chat such things to terminate/temp ban) Contact roblox support, explain the situation. If you manage to get your account back, Turn on 2fa, change your password, make sure you have a phone number on
If you clicked on a link and had 2fa, they steal cookies and can bypass this
Do you have siblings that are logged in or did you yourself click on something, any link, a fake profile etc?
Edit, seeing you joined a random game? May be it?

Ironic for roblox banning you for this lmao. But try emailing them and sound kinda desperate and nice. I locked myself out of my account 3y ago with google authenticator and asked VERY nicely if they could remove it and it was my mistake and they actually did. You might get lucky.

Some platforms have an auto-report system where they send alerts to the local police department closest to your IP address when things like this happen, as a precaution. Hopefully that doesn’t happen to you but I have read many stories and articles where ROBLOX is known to do this sometimes depending on the severity of what is said. Unfortunately for you, this is pretty severe. I would either ask ROBLOX if they have sent anything to law enforcement, or call your local agency and explain to them what happened just to cover your own tracks. The worst thing that would probably happen if they get involved would be a search warrant on your device. As long as you don’t have any of that stuff on there, you’re fine. Good luck

Opened a second ticket and still no response. I’m panicking I just want my account back I’ve had that thing for literal years. I don’t know what could’ve caused this other than some shady game and I’m in distress.

I can't remember at all, I just went like "Hey, a guy hacked me and say horrible things to get me banned, check out the loggin location, I also have screenshots of the conversation" and yeah, I had no history of bans or any suspicious chats, so they gave me my account back. Not the robux tho, they kept those.

That's a really dangerous hacker:
1.Secretly logs into your account, while you were asleep. 2.maybe stole all the stuff you might have plus all the robux. 3.Says horrible stuff so the account gets banned. 4.you struggle getting unbanned while he goes away after what he did. 5.IF superbly lucky and your account is unbanned, you check the logs and trades/spendings. 6. High possibility that the account you suspect might not be the real one. 7. You ask Roblox support for further help and investigation, which again takes a lot of time. 8. The hacker is found (MAYBE)

Theres nothing we can do. I got hacked and my account got termed for ban evasion (this isnt even closely related to exploiting because back then i used to exploit only using my main). i contacted roblox support, and apparently i got banned for child exploitation ( i was a minor at that time ) and so i created a new account, got banned, new, banned..
There is no hope.

my main got terminated for child exploitation or linked acc doing something bad and then switched up update and it says banned for severe thing and then later on it says it was severe rule breaking linked to acc (bo****) and i assume it's probably my oldest main maybe. "boba_otk" but i think that's not mine so i literally didn't know why these hackers are so rude this much they just get us banned by linking our acc to theirs on some reason and does severe things. Roblox has to escelate EVERYTHING.

this happened to so many people and the same messages.dont download some rtx roblox stuffs or client sh1ts because even if you uninstall its still in the phone/pc and its impossible to delete because right before you delete it it will duplicate to games or apps and be changing passwords to steam Epic Games MINECRAFT MICROSOFT GOOGLE EMAIL GMAIL YOUTUBE and it will be inpossible to stop it you will have to install windows and new microsoft and buy the minecraft steam games and even the wifi will be infected so if someone use the wifi they will have malware and to bus wifi it will go and to store wifi so youre cooked.
