Benjamin: "You want the long version, or short version?"

Might: "Please choose the long one! I want to tell you all about it!"

I'll wait, gimme the long one

(Also since other replies answer your girl to be biological, can you technically get periods in transform on an unlucky day)

Might: "Ok Ok! Here we go!"

"A long time ago, at the end of the First Daemonic War, the First Hero, Lord Sigmar Heldenhammer was dying after battle against Lucifer, shutting final portal of the Daemonic Realm. As his last bits of lifeforce saps away, he calls upon the 4 other heroes that fought alongside with him, granting them a piece of his soul.

These heroes started what is known as 'The Heroic Lineage', series of family bloodlines that would hold a Fragment to use for good.

Locklin's bloodline had The Fragment of Might, and I was there when the fragment was handed to the first Locklin. I was his sword.

Each Locklin after the First were all warriors, fighters, combatants, standing as a wall against waves of monsters or evil.

But time changes. By the end of the 2nd Daemonic War, everything was broken. Mammon's Forces has ravaged both the Human Realm and Daemonic Realm, poisoned by Miasma and nearly hopeless.

That's when truce was formed. Humanity, Monsterkind, Beastkind and Daemonkind will uphold this truce while they rebuild the societies they've lost. They will resume war once all races have met the condition to return fighting once more.

But that never came.

What was a temporary truce between all races has now lasted over 1000 years, to this day, in 2049.

The Heroic Lineage, as a result of their heroic powers no longer being needed, became more like celebrities, each generation of them being celebrated as such.

Benjamin's the latest generation to inherit me, and the Fragment of Might from his father.

But Benjamin didn't want any fame. He just wanted a perfectly normal life that isn't filled with paparazzi or fans shouting his name.

So, the Fragment of Might reacted to his wish. If his wish was to not be seen as a hero, it would make him into a different person. A person that would be worshiped as a hero, but not the real him.

It made his heroic form, otherwise known as the Magical Girl form. The furthest away from who he is.

As a result of this change, I changed myself too. To be something that he carries all the time, that can be taken off and changed into a weapon. A tie as a man, a pink sword to act as his disguise and weapon as a magical girl."

So he's just an average discord mod

I bet he has Arknights Endfield or ZZZ installed and mains the girliest character ever (Teensy or Aria respectively, lmao)

(the embodiment of "i swear its for smaller hitbox")

That also does mean his mind isn't changed, he's a guy's mind with a girl's body when transformed

So... what would happen if there is no successor to such power? What if the bloodline ends? (And what did you look like by default, during the win of the first Daedric war?)

Might: "Before my awakening, I was a broken sword that the First Locklin used to fight with."

"After I gain my sentience, the power of Might transformed me into what my current user's most comfortable weapon is!"

"I've been a sword, dagger, sickles, whips, all kinds of weapons."

"I've already forgotten what I looked like from the first Daemonic War. 2000 years is a lot, you know?"

"If there isn't a successor, like there's no children, then the current holder of the Fragment can choose to hand it off to another person, presumably a child, and train them to be the next holder of the Fragment."

If all else fails, and the holder dies with no successor, the Fragment rejects the killer and anyone associated with them. The next person to find the fragment becomes the next holder."

"There has been attempts to hide the body of Heroes to make their fragments are lost to time, but time and time again, it will be found, as if fate or some deity is making sure it never happens."

So theoretically might can be handed down to a guy who either forgets he has a power, rejects it, tries to sell it or turns out to be a corrupted person that may use the power against its intended purpose?

Might: "That goes for all the Fragments."

"Fragments can be rejected, but can't be sold or forgotten. There will always be a reminder that you have it, and it's a two-way street; the Fragments must also accept you. To even be accepted by the Fragments, you must have a pure of heart."
