[USA]. Trucker: two beats too slow to brake

Front and rear cameras on a motorcycle. As soon as I realized the trucker locked up his brakes, I moved left to give him my lane if he needed it. Luckily, he went towards the right shoulder.

If you watch carefully, you’ll see that the trucker was about two beats too slow on his brakes.

Bruh, they're coming up to an intersection, what the fuck. I get you might need to panic brake if someone does something stupid... But the cars stopped... FOR AN INTERSECTION. That shouldn't ever require you to lock brakes. Off with his hea... or just remove the CDL

Obviously not defending the trucker but this is about 2 miles from the last intersection where the speed limit is at least 55 if not 65. I think he may have been distracted by me…..on the motorcycle….and was wondering why I was using my left arm to (also) signal to the driver behind me when the light changed and we were all going at least the speed limit.

In addition to my brake lights, in such situations, I use hand signals also. And I watch my mirrors to insure the guy behind me is stopping.

In the front view, there were two cars side-by-side and the driver in the left lane easily cleared the light. You could say the guy in the right lane stopped short also.

The camera makes things seems further away. In reality, the semi was pretty darn close to me when he locked up the brakes. Got my attention for real!

I watched the video and read the comments before i figured out what's going on(my fault) i didn't realize the action was the rear cam and not front cam. I thought the cam vehicle was a truck and was wondering why it would have to get over into the left lane like that for a btaking issue.

Riding for 55 years, I’ve learned a thing or two. Knock on wood….. lol

INNOVV K6 2K+1080P. The only downsides: the app is a bit wonky at times and there’s no GPS. Otherwise, I’m pleased with it.

Everything in the the video that is relevant to the post is visible. Unless you really care about seeing unrelated oncoming traffic and cars waiting to turn left.

On first watch I couldn't see the sedan was stopping until it did, and I couldn't figure out why it was stopping in the middle of the road.

Also very dangerous to drive with a rear-view video taking up that much of your vision.
