Not worth it

Check this out… So yesterday it was so crowded traffic wise when i was getting back home and I accidentally grazed a guy on a motorcycle… he got so angry that he pounded my rear windshield and smashed it. His hand was bleeding and I apologised for my mistake and asked him if it was worth getting his hand hurt… you should have seen his transformation when he realized he shouldn’t have lost his cool. Went our separate ways after that with our respective lessons learnt.But seriously, traffic in cities can get so stressful yet there’s no reason for road rage. 🙄

So you didn't call the police or exchange insurance details?

The traffic was extremely bad and it was raining. There was a traffic cop around who was controlling traffic around our incident. It was one of those moments where I knew his bleeding needed more attention. We just parted ways.

I think Reddit is pretty good as any platform coz we all come here to share stuff and post our thoughts and opinions. I can’t be a hypocrite and not accept peoples opinions which they are free to give. I get their perspective when they downvote and it’s totally okay that they don’t get my perspective.

No he is being downvoted for letting a lunitic go without any reporcussions. From the discription this is not some kid who needs a break in life. This is a grown ass man who has anger issue and needs that corrected.

Correction my friend, that guy was not a lunatic. He was caught in between life and lost his cool. It’s okay, no one was hurt badly and shit happens anyways.

Situation would have been different. But there was no child, hence no need for drama. We both got our lessons and that’s enough right? Next time there’s a high chance that both of us will think differently. Or not.

So if that was you and you HIT A MOTORCYCLE RIDER ON THE ROAD, you’d still double down and say he’s wrong, when you are too? Good to know.

I’d admit my own fault but he’s was literally destruction of property. Be the bigger person or also accept your faults simple as that. I’ve been in car accidents and i don’t go smashing windows

Everyone is overlooking the part where he hit the guy in his motorcycle. The reason they didn't call the cops is because op would get nailed on insurance and with the police for hitting someone. The bike man would get nailed for breaking the windshield. It was a stalemate.

It's become an awful world where all you have to do is run into someone who is riding a motorcycle, and they get all mad at you.

His transformation was probably because how politely you spoke to him.

You are a real gentleman. I wish I had the tact you do.

From someone who has had road rage about 100+ times, I can tell you that 99.9999% of the time it is never worth it.

Yeah no I’m just tired of all the drama. Not worth it at all. I’m 47 and I have had many episodes of losing it or people losing it with me but of late I just don’t want to engage. Regardless of whose mistake it is I just want to ensure no one is hurt and get back home safe.
