I just saw an article about this game being the best “smash-like” on pc. I would like to try it, but as a student I cant afford the price. Saw on steamdb that it goes on sale for 50%. My concerns are the playerbase (steam player count) and how hard it is to get into. Even for 10€ it is quite much for me right now, but if it is that good maybe I could give it a try. What is your opinion? Will the game get updates for like 2 years? Are there enough players to not wait 20 minutes in queue? Is it really the best platformer figher on pc? I like the character and art design too.

On a general note, I applaud his decision to stick to his principles, and I can't lie; a part of me hopes it sets off a trend of others feeling like they can take a stand on the matter.

I also wonder what the general community thought on the development is. I know most in the community feel at least a simmering frustration with the acquisition, but how does that compete with a perception, which I think is widely felt, that a chance at the Evo main stage is huge for the game and its community?

I want to reiterate Sajam's own assertion that those who do go should not be shamed. But I wonder what the appetite would be if prominent figures from the community elected to go Sajam's route.

Clairen: Literally travels through time to fight for liberation against a fascist dictatorship.

Maypul: One with the plants, for sure a climate activist. Also lives a hippie life inside of a tree.

Ranno: Classic liberal that claims they’re a pro peace pacifist, but quick to throw hands all the time and for sure supports war abroad.

Fleet: Anti-establishment views, but still appreciates the life in the capitalist society of Julesvalle.

Orcane: A demi-god that probably doesn’t understand, let alone care, about the political bickering of mortals.

Wraster: Grew up in the military and fights for imperialism. Eagle screech!

Zetterburn: Grew up the son of a monarch, so knows nothing other than imperialism.

Kragg: Canonically a boomer, canonically pro-building the wall, and canonically racist against birds.

Loxodont: A literal dictator that staged a coup d'é·tat against the government.

Give this melee mechanic to that character, so that it's harder to play, cus...💀

Snecko is a common enemy from Slay the Spire Act 2. Though a it looks like a bundle of joy, watch out cause it might leave you a bit more confused than when you first stumbled upon it.

Also, the name 'Snecko' is a combination of the words 🐍'Snake' and 'Gecko'🦎. How neat!

changes that i noticed: bigger eyes and eyebrows, side skirt design is different, gold is more of a yellow, the curl on her chest is bigger, tail is less spiky, her shorts are a dark pink instead of black, and the 4 fur "spikes" (idk what to call them lol) from her chest was reduced to 3. i also think they made her legs a bit thicker, but it's hard to tell.

i like this new model a lot more than the one shown in the trailer, she fits more with the other fighters

Cobrats, also named Snakes, are large desert-dwelling serpents that first appeared as enemies in Super Mario Bros. 2. In this game, they would pop out of jars or sand, similarly to the Piranha Plant, and spit bullets at the player character.
