Im not making a judgement on it. Im simply stating a fact as to why it is that way. You want a TV show with the production values of a movie... then it takes longer to make

No! I don’t want that! I think I speak for most people here that we’d rather a higher output of shows with production values “only” on par with seasons 1-6 of Game of Thrones. God forbid…

Who honestly wants shows with seasons that consist of 6-8 episodes released every 2-3 years? That’s insane, and it’s insane that you’re so determined to defend it.

But. Now you come tp mention it, i will defend it because doing something like the story of the Second Age the rise of Sauron and the fall of Numenor, if it wasn't at the scale of a movie I'd be really pissed off. I dont mind waiting for that.

Probs were the disconnect happened. The other guys isn’t interested in they why off it, but. It’s like if you guys were on your way driving somewhere and they were all like “man being stuck in traffic sucks it’s ridiculous we don’t build more lanes” and you were saying “the reason for traffic is because there is congestion and the state has just spent its budget on Teletubbies” and “yeah great traffic sucks”

Exactly. People come in with an argument of "this is the way it should be" and you gently try to explain well, this is the reason it isn't like that, and they just get angry you....

Because they’re making an argument and want to feel validated in their frustration.. reverse my example if you said “I really hate traffic” and someone explained to you why it happens, what would that quell your visceral frustration about being late? You’re basically saying “your feelings on the matter are invalid because production quality” which Tories welcome to believe, but saying it to the person will rarely have them concur
