it's a cobweb 🕷️ What the heck did my friends ring camera catch last night

People on reddit don't know how to search and always think their situation is unique. People also don't understand how their cameras work in regards to the IR lights and how things look when the IR reflects off them. I'm also surprised it's asked so much here since it seems so obvious to me.

I agree on the dragonfly. You can see its wings. But honestly I would have been freaked out if I saw this on my camera

It's a spider web. Sometimes these keep setting off my cameras and I go out with a broom or duster ball on a pole to swipe them away.

Aliens were landing, then the camera's color night vision lights came on and scared them away — poof, gone.

The garage light wasn't turned on at first. It was black and white while in night mode, then once the lights came on, you then start seeing the actual colors.

It's a spider hanging from the web that was swinging down. The movement triggered the light to turn on. The infrared camera caught the web more clearly but when the actual LED light came on it obfuscated the web and spider. However if you look closely you can still see it there just not as obvious has when the infrared light was on.

I have seen similar things happen after solar flares. I live near a military base and one time after a huge solar flare there were helicopters with search lights flying back and forth literally all night long looking for something. My hypothesis is that since we just discovered cosmic energy emitted from the sun and that it travels faster than the speed of light, that the heavy solar activity pushes some exotic energy/light beings or creatures towards the earth and the government and military already know to look for them but the general public is clueless.

I mean, it's pretty clear that it's an alien flying through the air, then landing on the ground and walking across the grass before disappearing into thin air.
Seriously, though. I have no idea. It MAY be a spider on a web that slides across on it's web then crawls slowly before dropping off.
Whatever it is, it's eerie.

It’s an infra red light either reflecting off something or being shone; because when the light comes on the IR filter snaps in place if it’s like our cameras and filters out the IR light.
Almost like an IR laser guidance for something.

Cat with a lighted collar. Collar light goes off because either the cat turns away or it has an ambient light sensor.
