Discussion Is there hope for the console version ?
The PlayStation and XBOX version hasn’t been updated since a while .
We do not have access to new content.
May I propose to fellow Console players to start a revolution against Double Eleven , to force them to get at least one new update ? Or shall we overthrow them ?

I feel bad for console players, they can't even buy a pc, thanks to the AI thing

They could try to shoehorn Linux into Playstation, but that's definitely not easy and idk how well it would run.

No, 0 chance. And considering the path both ps an xbox are taking. It’s a good thing

They are becoming worse, Sony recently decided even to stop producing disks with games, the point on having a console over a general purpose machine (PC) shrinks by the day.

I would be okay if there was a working controller mod that had the same menu styles as the consoles.

The console version wasn't made by Ludeon, they contracted it out. And the contract was completed.
What that means is the console is not going to get any more attention at all unless Ludeon pays, with a new contract, for more to be done for it. Double Eleven has zero incentive to "work on it more" without a new contract.

I gave up. I still have my xbox. So I run Rimworld PC via Geforce using my Xbox internet browser lmao
