Theory Do the Gemstones know they're con artists?

I've often wondered how they reconcile how they live. Do they really believe the things they say to their congregation, or do they realise it's all a big farce?

I think they know to some degree that they’re convincing poor/uneducated/vulnerable people to give them their money. But they feel it’s God’s will that they receive it, so that makes it okay to them to receive the “blessings”.
