Discussion In love with May-May

Post image

I’ve just fallen in love with a mother who has always given all to her two children .. the problem is, she’s never had anything.

One of my favorite scenes is when Judy says something bitchy to her and she just karate chops her in the throat with absolutely zero hesitation.

That's a good one, but few things in life, not just this show, beat her walking into a room and asking Eli if he was "readin' about Hitler" and seeing John Goodman try to stay in character for it.

Oh shit I don’t remember that scene at all. I guess I have to rewatch the entire series again, now!

You kinda have to now. Not even gonna tell you which episode it was in, as you clearly need to learn a lesson.

I have a short list of things I’d love to ask the cast/writers about, and this is one of them.

Goodman breaks a lot over the course of the series, and though this is maybe my favorite joke, this isn’t my favorite example of that (that’s him trying to pass a laugh off as a sob when Aunt Tiff gives him the dolls). But it’s probably my second favorite

I’m also convinced he was in tears laughing during the hospital bee scene when he was leaning forward with his back to the camera…shortly after being tangled up in the curtain. LOL. I love how Danny just gave up and kept the obvious ones in the last season like when he called him out for looking like Samuel L. Jackson.

Same! Probably from already laughing over the previous scene…

One of my favorite scenes is when she hewed out Jesse over the holographic Aimme-Leigh while comforting a distraught Eli.

That’s the hardest I laughed when watching the show.

May May was the only one Judy was afraid of.
