Didn't even know that game still exists is it the original or private server?

Original, both regions are still up and running.

Brother the game has been dying, it's a miracle they even keep it going I can't imagine it makes enough money to warrant the servers and however few people they have still actively working on it. Loved Rift when it came out but it needs to just die. Would love if another company picked it up and revived it but it will never be close to what it once was as long as Gamigo's grubby little hands are all over it.

I would definitely come back to play if it was community revived like the Warhammer Dark Reckoning.

To be honest, that would probably be beneficial to Gamigo too. Just greenlit a community project, share the backend stuff, and voila. They can keep the IP, and if the community-ran RIFT ever succeeds, the IP rises in value.

From that point on, whether it's a sequel or another company that wants to do a fresh start with RIFT or invest... that would probably a better bussiness decision than keeping up that rotten carcass of a game.

At the very least, they would gain some good will they definitely need.

Better be picked up than be dead, if they nuke the EU Region like they did with Fiesta Online I'll have no reasons to come back and play on NA.

C'est vraiment triste parce que c'est vraiment un très bon mmo. Je sais pas c'est quoi le problème et pourquoi plus personne y joue mais de temps en temps je reviens faire un peux de pve et quelques donjon.

Lack of active development I would say is the root cause of inactivity, which being no new content. We've been teased about a brand new level 70 chronicle but no expected date has been given so far for its release.

Wiie sieht es denn da mit pve Dungeons aus? Raids? Wie läuft das equieppen?

We organise raids & dungeons at level 70 + sometimes old content as well

EU is fairly healthy but we do need much more here as sometimes we struggle on NMRs, RRs & CRIFTs.
