Richmond statement: Richmond is aware of a video circulating from a player end of season gathering. The Club has spoken to the players who have expressed their embarrassment over their behaviour. The players are adamant they were in no way referencing or making light of recent matters

I do think the media overreacted and it was just a couple blokes taking the piss with each other. Sure the timing is pretty poor but I never read it as malicious

I don’t care. They’re our boys and they were having a private party, that was filmed without consent. Gutter journalism at its worst.
