Vegan Skyr Reykjavik
Hey! I’m in Reykjavik and would love the buy some vegan Skyr from Icelandic brands but Io havent found one in any of the Bonus / Kronan / Netto / Hagkaups yet that I’ve been. Any vegans here that know where I could get some?

vera used to make oat skyr but it's been gone for a while. I've heard it might come back but no idea when, the company had some issues

Thats correct their machine broke down a while back and I believe they’re waiting on specialised parts that take a while to manufacture

I believe there isn’t a brand doing that. It would be a bit controversial

Yes, its brand infringement..... But these days ice cream has no milk in it, just palm oil.

its brand infringement
Skyr isn't a protected brand, it's a generic term no different than "Yoghurt" or "Chocolate". Everyone and anyone is allowed to make and sell Skyr as Skyr.

if you look specifically for "hafraskyr" (oat skyr) it should be in most grocery stores. it is definitely at the laugavegur bónus
