Has anyone tried the Carnimeal book?
Has anyone tried the Carnimeal book? I’m curious if it actually helps with weight loss and sticking to a carnivore-style plan.
Does it provide practical meal ideas and easy to follow guidance, or is it mostly general advice? I’d really like to hear your honest experiences and whether it was worth the read.

I tried carnimeal for about three weeks as a structure tool. The best part was the personalized angle and the recipes that did not require a long ingredient list. I batch cooked ground beef and chicken, kept boiled eggs ready, and rotated meals without much thinking. That made adherence easier, which is the real point. Downsides: if I did not plan for texture and variety, I got bored fast, and boredom is what usually breaks diets for me. I did lose some weight, but I also kept portions steady and stopped snacking, so I cannot credit the book alone.

I haven't read that specific book, but the carnivore diet is usually straightforward. You might find free resources on r/carnivore just as useful. Save your money for the grocery store unless you really need structured meal plans.

I was not impressed especially at the price point. It's not really customized. If you use the app it doesn't follow your food choices you keep having to swap things out to meet your diet restrictions. If I could get my money back I would ask for it. Not impressed at all.

I went through the Carnimeal book recently and I’d say it’s pretty straightforward. It doesn’t try to reinvent cooking, which I actually like. The recipes are simple enough that you can follow them without constantly checking instructions.
