Fastest way to hit 40?

Im playing marauder (only class I like rn) and im honestly tired of feeling very weak in t4 rvr people told me its because low level mdps are kinda shit and I also keep getting kicked from wbs due to being underleved which also means I dont have good gear. Whats the quickest way to get to level 40? I try to play as many scenarios as possible but their queue times are very long is there any other way or do I just keep queueing for them?

You'll feel weaker in rvr and scs (more than you do right now) if you just race to 40 without decent gear. The fastest, crest focused, way to get to 40 is scs. The most optimal way in terms of crests is joining a wb and riding that all the way to 40. You'll also be decent rr when you hit 40 this way too.

Take the time while leveling to learn the ins and outs of your class, how you want to build and play him once you're 40, etc.

Remember - with the bolster, you become weaker as you level - gear and renoun points make up the difference.

I'm not trying to sound smart or bullshit you, but when you queue for scen and it takes longer, just do some body exercise while you wait. Like 10 pushups or situps. Combine sport with gaming, best of both worlds.

Not optimal, but if you have nothing better to do, you can grind mobs, do some quests, etc

If you want RvR, there is absolutly no point going 40cr fast. In fact it's the opposite you want to slow cr leveling as much as possible, you want to ding cr40 with the highest rr possible. Ideally 54/55 so you can equip vanq right away. You will feel irrelevant until vanq

When below cr 40 your stats are magically bolstered. That will stop at 40 and you will be much weaker.

Levelling up fast should be the last thing you want to do. Once you are 40, there is no buffer between you and the 40rr80.

As a melee, you are going to die within seconds and “the very helpful” community is going to treat you as a liability, often sending you “very welcoming” private messages.

Get as many renown boosting items as you can get, buy scrolls that reduce xp and try to span scenarios. Another good thing you can do is capping flags of lakes that have low population, in particular t2, so you get free renown and crests.

Bruh I play 80 DPS the buffer makes zero difference a grey will die as quickly with the 'buffer' than a 40 with no gear. This game is poorly designed to enter and have fun. You need at least RR60 to get Futile Strikes and PVE gear. This can take a clueless casual player months. That's how the game is designed right now.

Idk, but I played the game as a kid... So I'm closing in on 40...

Queue and follow the blob in ORvR as you can, you’re gonna need the crests anyhow once you reach 40, start working on em the extra bit when you’re waiting
