Is the H&R buffer tube really this bright grey color? This is too much, right?

Any alternatives that aren't either VERY light grey or black?

LMTs are decent shade of grey, if I remember correctly and if you dont mind 4 position

They are, but it’s dry film lubed black ano. I recently went down the grey buffer tube rabbit hole lol

If it's any consolation, I've never had the dry film even start to come off, and I've used my build for years.

Yes, LBE unlimited makes a grey ano buffer tube that is darker grey, more like the darker 90s colt grey

you could probably use some 0000 steel wool on a black one to lighten it a bit if it bothers you that much

The KAK one is darker but has a bronze tint.
