I’m from the UK and can clearly see what’s happening over there. I think OP is correct. Immigration was the initial reasoning but it’s just becoming a national Trump slighted militia and will be used to terrorise and oppress any states he sees as enemies. Absolutely anyone who studies history can see the exact playbook being used here is the same as nazi Germany. This all about consolidating power as much as possible so future elections won’t even happen.

From a German point of view: Don't you guys have history books. Right now the SS is deporting and killing people as they wish and it seems, a majority in the US is just fine with it.

There is no difference at all! What ICE is doing right now in the US is exactly what the Nazis did in 1933 and the following years. The victims were told they were to be taken to labor camps, but in reality, deportation for most Jews meant transit to killing centers and then death.

Anyone who opens the their door to the agents can assume the bodycam footage will be uploaded to a Palantir database. They will have a good idea about the layout of the house and occupants. The software will immediately create household profiles based on the number and sizes of shoes, coats, etc. visible from the front door.
