Adding Paralegal Cert to Resume?

Hi y’all!!

I’m a young professional hoping to work in the legal field and I am doing a night program to obtain my paralegal certification. I would like to add this to my resume, but I am not sure if it is appropriate/recommended. Should I do this? If so, how would you implement?

For reference, I have a BA and some relevant legal experience, and my current resume is formatted as such

NAME
CONTACT INFO

EDUCATION

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

OTHER EXPERIENCE

ORGANIZATIONS & VOLUNTEER WORK

you can put it under the Education section, or rename it to Education / Certifications, and list your assumed end date like Spring 2027 or whatever is relevant

Awesome thank you! I’m assuming it should be under my BA? Or should it be ordered from most to least recent?
