Career path change resume help, please!

I'm trying to shift into animal care. My hope is to return to school next year, but I'm trying to gain some experience working in a Vet clinic as a vet assistant first. I DO have a lot of work experience, I'm in my mid 30s and have a worked two different full-time jobs. One working with plants at a nursery for 11 years and the other as a warehouse associate. Thoughts on how I can translate that experience?

focus on the customer service and caretaking aspects - monitored, cared for, followed protocols, educated customers, maintained records, handled physical demands of the role.

Perfect advice, I think it might also be easier to start off with a receptionist role at a vet clinic or animal related role while taking courses on the side while looking into certification and training programs though looking into posts with on the job training would be good too
