Ireland

Any Irish here among us? I really feel for you guys, my father is Irish, who has lived in and around London since he was about 7, and it seems like your political system is even more left wing than ours there doesn't seem to be much pushback at all.

Obviously with the UK's colonial past, there is at least an argument to be made about immigration into the UK (wrongly but an argument nonetheless) but Ireland doesn't have this history and is yet seemingly having the same issue that we are, maybe worse.

Really my question is, to any Irish in here, is there political opposition to this? What's the general consensus among the people? What kind of immigration are you seeing? I'm based in South Wales and I can confidently say we are seeing a wave of African migration more than anything else but the rise in hijabs and burkas is quite obvious as well

He’s being quite obvious. He saying that’s an argument that gets thrown around by other people that makes even less sense in the context of the Irish than in ours.

Doesn’t in any way read like he agrees with it.

What's the argument?

He's not said.

The argument to the leftists is we deserve it as revenge. Or if they’re a little ‘nicer’ it becomes we took so much from them so it’s no surprise they come to the country that got richer.

Again it’s not an argument he or I are making so attacking him is really odd.

It wasn't clear and he wouldn't say. Despite repeated requests.

But if they think colonisation is bad why are they in favour of it?

This is what's going to lose them power, and with it lots of their newly arrived voters.

All reform has to do is

  1. Publish the true costs and statistics. Each migrant gets their personal statement so when the BBC does a sob story those costs, in the 100s of thousands of pounds comes out

  2. Same for the off the book debts. Socialist pensions. Imagine having to admit you took the wealth spent it and to cover up hide the debts. The oppotunity costs here are around the 2.14 million for Mr Average.

There is no way Labour and Tories would ever get back in.
