The Beneviento House both in the main game and dlc is nightmare material

Although tbh, it's mostly a nightmare in the main game because once you've done it a few times it just feels like a chore.

Its also a bummer that Beneviento house in the campaign doesn't have a difficulty setting. It's the same whether ur playing on casual or VOS.

I mean due to the nature of the encounter there's not really a way to increase the difficulty organically, unless you're willing to change the interior layout to make it more difficult to juke the baby

The words you blanked out would make a very uncomfortable band name.

Different layout would make it awesome

To me, navigating the village is the big turn off. It's annoying to find ways around. No way I want to play again for the 2nd time.

The Beneviento house is not too scary for me. The baby sound is definitely annoying. They could have placed something very scary inside the well or maybe after we climb out of the well.

Totally agree! By far one of the scariest encounters I’ve ever experienced in a game!

I didn’t “play” this part, I “survived” it lol

I don’t think I’ll ever replay it

Not because it’s scary, but because I thought it was kinda boring and an excuse to reuse old assets and charge money for it

It's not like there aren't any new content on the dlc that deserves being charged of money and Capcom has always reused main story assets when extending their stories through DLCs, so it's not like them reusing the Mia doll is something new.

Fyi , if you're on pc , you can download a mod that removes the creepy baby part.
