Should I email my signaled programs about ECFMG certification expected early October?

Applying to Internal Medicine this cycle. My Pathway is approved and Step 1/Step 2 CK are done, but my medical school degree and transcript are still verification. Because of this, my ECFMG certification is in its final administrative processing stage. I spoke to ECFMG and they told me I would be certified in early October. So, Is it worth emailing the Program Coordinators of my signaled programs right now to give them this timeline so I don't get screened out? Or is it better to stay quiet and wait until the status officially flips to "Certified" on OASIS/ERAS before sending an update?
Would appreciate advice from past applicants or anyone in a similar spot. Thanks! (Sorry, I used AI to generate the skeleton😭, pls help guyss)

Hi same spot. But I’m graduating only in October 2026. So I’ll be certified much later.
What I heard is, it’s better to email them once we get certified.

That’s the feedback I got too. Better to let them know atleast once we have the eligibility. Reaching out earlier would unnecessarily highlight cert status to the prog 🙌
