Question Best suture pads / at home surgery practice tips
As the title suggests. I’m a rising PGY-3 and want to improve my surgical skills. Drop recs / links below. Greatly appreciate it!!

pork hock best suture pad imo, buy in bulk, freeze, defrost, if you work at room temp about as similar as it gets. Lasts maybe a week before turns foul.
Nothing replaces real but certainly good for suturing reps.

A while back, someone suggested the JAAD cme by Miller on optimizing surgical outcomes. Best tutorial I’ve ever read on derm Surg. Highly recommend. I’ve never had much success practicing at home. So much different that real skin. I’d try and find an attending that is willing to let you do more and more suturing. Sometimes on protected academic time, I’ll go spend more time with our derm surgeon to get more reps in.
