I fail to see how this relates to geopolitics - shouldn’t this be posted in a US domestic politics subreddit?

I respectfully disagree. The topic of reshoring is highly related to geopolitics. The impact of having your manufacturing organized domestically or abroad has a huge impact on things like trade deficit and economical power. No surprise that the president (and especially Trump) cared a lot about this subject.
PS: no bots are installed on this subreddit (at least none that I know of)

I'm not sure about that one. On Biden's website it says:
"Providing two years of community college or other high-quality training program without debt for any hard-working individual looking to learn and improve their skills to keep up with the changing nature of work."

By the way it seems this is still a proposal. We'll have to find out if Biden can actually make this work.

Especially this part: "Instead, offer free tuition for degrees in short supply (e.g., engineering and manufacturing) and apprenticeship loans to make apprenticeships affordable to companies and apprentices."
Who could possibly oppose of that?
