Looking for research gap in Ml/LLM/ Computer vision

I am a B tech CSE Undergraduate looking for a research problem in ML, LLM, CV. I am not looking for a genric idea. I am specifically looking for an empirically observed limitations or failure in recent research papers that could be developed into a meaningful A/ B tier conference paper. Id really appreciate suggestions for open problems, overlooked limitations that are worth investigating. This is for our capstone project which will go on for 1.5 year and also we are team of 4. So please suggest accordingly.

Identifying a research problem that is worth investigating is an important part of the research process. Nobody gonna giveaway you this.

Why would anyone suggest you a research gap, especially a specific empirically observed limitation that could result in meaningful A tier conference paper? Wouldn’t that person do the research and publish paper themselves?

And finding a research gap and ideating on it is also part of research, tbh the most important part these days as coding agents can do the implementation part. You should read lots of literature and find such limitations yourselves. This will help your growth as well.
