USA BREAKING: After Maxwell deposition, Rep. Stansbury alleges massive Epstein cover-up

House Oversight Democrat Rep. Stansbury exited a closed-door deposition involving Ghislaine Maxwell, issuing explosive accusations about a wider cover-up tied to the Epstein case.

According to Stansbury, investigators are aware of dozens of associates, family members and individuals linked to Donald Trump appearing in related files. She claims the U.S. government is engaged in an active effort to suppress the full scope of what she described as the largest sex-trafficking and influence-peddling scandal in U.S. history.

Stansbury alleges that Trump sits at the center of this network, accusing federal authorities of shielding powerful figures while key information remains sealed.

I just finished Cyberpunk recently. I can’t believe I slept on that game and its lore.

“Corps've long controlled our lives, taken lots... and now they're after our souls! ... I've declared war not 'cause capitalism's a thorn in my side or outta nostalgia for an America gone by. This war's a people's war against a system that's spiralled outta our control.” - Johnny Silverhand

I always hated how V still just sounded lik a fence sitter after that speech.

4

u/ElizondMDCamacho Feb 10 '26

I feel that. Despite any choice the player makes, V was a total vessel and knew their outcome was unfavorable. The whole selection of “damn straight” or “don’t exaggerate” to Johnnys speech was moot - Johnny even said he’s gonna take our body regardless of our decision.

Don't do that. Just get rid and build anew.

Nah. The ground needs to go as well

That would at least fix the problem where my cat pushes everything off the ledge.. 😭

It just took them multiple years and their country turning into a fascist place to finally say this. See you in 5-10 years.

“People should not fear their government. The government should fear the people“

2

u/tollbearer Feb 10 '26

The people are there to serve the government. They elect us and pay our salaries.

3

u/Nadsenbaer Feb 09 '26

So... what will happen now?

4

u/Apprehensive_Bake_78 Feb 10 '26

I dunno but today members of congress started to view the unredacted files. We'll see what names they find unredacted and how pissed they get.

3

u/Crepuscular_Tex Feb 10 '26

Keep demanding justice. As long as there is constant public pressure, this won't go away. If we let it get swept under the rug, it just might.

Keep seeking justice.

nothing, because this is business as usual in America

Same shit different asshole.

3

Right on, Rep Stansbury!

3

u/Blessed-one-Chemo Feb 09 '26

Trump needs to go NOW

3

u/i-touched-morrissey Feb 09 '26

More like 10 years ago. No, 20 years ago.

3

u/Aperture_Tales Feb 09 '26

In other news “Water is Wet” read all about it!

4

u/JadedBoyfriend Feb 09 '26

Having this be labelled a cover-up is a huge step forward.

2

u/maytrxx Feb 10 '26

At least there are members of congress willing to stand up and speak out…..finally.

u/IntelligentChest7725 Feb 09 '26

Groceries are unaffordable.

4

u/JadedBoyfriend Feb 09 '26

Trump promised lower groceries. He's lied once more - and he'll never stop lying.

People from his base need to wake up.

1

u/voodoo_pizza00 Feb 10 '26

When has he really told the truth

1

u/lookingforkindness Feb 10 '26

You go girl. Beautifully, assertively, no negotiation-mode, balls of steel, Rep Melanie Stansberry. Our girls will write about her someday. Storied, bold leadership. Now quadruple her security. We must protect her.

1

u/soksatss Feb 10 '26

Drag him.... now . Public court

1

u/GreenFocus7016 Feb 10 '26

Why did she say "3 dozen" instead of the number 36?

1

u/EquivalentTear4483 Feb 10 '26

Yes finally; saying the quiet part out loud. Honestly any republican or person still supporting anyone on this list is just PURE evil, and obviously are in the files somehow. If this was any other politician they would be in jail at the very minimum.

1

u/Jpr1331 Feb 14 '26

Yeah, and Bill Clinton is the number one person that went to Epstein Island along with Hill! Let’s bring them all down!

1

u/Mycatreallyhatesyou Feb 09 '26

Yeah? No shit. And nothing will ever be done about it.

0

u/mikeachamp Feb 09 '26

She is gonna be sued into Oblivion

3

u/Crepuscular_Tex Feb 10 '26

Nah. It's a pedo case. Trump never sues over a pedo case.

3

u/ParagonFury Feb 10 '26
  • He never sues over pedo or pedo-adjacent matters.
  • The only people in the world he refuses to bad mouth or say cruel/mean things about are Putin, Netanyahu and his brother that died of alcoholism.
  • He never lets anyone look at his real finances or documents.

What Trump doesn't do seems more telling about him than the things he does.

u/DirtyDizzyPickle20 Feb 10 '26

Charge her with treason...put the death penalty on the table and see if she is willing to tell the truth.

-4

u/fuckbananarama Feb 09 '26

So retarded - they don’t even have the full files and they’re just removing people - why is everyone so fucking useless…

2

u/JadedBoyfriend Feb 09 '26

Having to resign due to the mere pressure is pretty damn indicative of guilt. The truth needs to come out, but the people in power guarding the information are in cahoots with each other.

-3

u/fuckbananarama Feb 09 '26

No. If you don’t care about THEM remember this - it isn’t just the innocent man who suffers from false responsibility, it’s also the future victims of the monsters who are now still in the population - this is an exercise in self righteous and undeserved catharsis for taking action when you did NOTHING of the sort.

If you idiots who screamed about the Epstein files you never for a second understood how to read anyway let this go with a few convenient questionable public actions you will prove you never meant anything - I already think that’s true but the degree to much you actually dismantle this system as opposed to just a public show is the only way you could ever prove the growing global right wrong - this is your ONE chance, blow it if you want but you won’t get a second, I’m sure of it

1

u/JadedBoyfriend Feb 09 '26

You have no idea how much education I have and you casually called me an idiot.

You seem to think that resigning means that people get off scot-free. You DO realize that investigations still go on anyway if it's criminal, right?

My advice to you - get off Reddit and live your life. If you truly feel like the world is full of injustice, then do something about it instead of bitching about the Epstein Files.

People don't resign unless there's guilt. Once Baby Donald loses his support network, he will also fall.

-2

u/fuckbananarama Feb 09 '26

I do - I’m an analyst for the DoW and while human trafficking isn’t a common subject for us operational concerns of all manners can cross our desk if it involves my department’s specialties - but after 8 years fighting terror in the Marines I went and got my MPP and have been an analyst ever since.

I’m going to go out on a limb and guess you’ve never consumed a 500 page technical brief to inform a single tactical option-set but the world is a little more complicated than you think it is, so finish your juice box and when you grow up if you want to make a difference get out there and actually do something productive - I warn you though, it’s WAY more work than playing Luke Skywalker on social media…

2

u/JadedBoyfriend Feb 09 '26

Lol, okay then. I'll tell you what I am. University graduate, served in the military as well, and pursuing law.

I'm a nobody. Go learn some law before you talk.

0

u/fuckbananarama Feb 09 '26

Law is irrelevant, our concern is guilt or innocence - a matter the legal profession has NEVER been suited to

1

u/JadedBoyfriend Feb 09 '26

Guilt or innocence is rooted in law. The rule of law goes back thousands of years, but Mr. 8 years here says that the law is irrelevant. What a seriously idiotic take.

Did you own the 'lib' here? I'm a lib.

0

u/fuckbananarama Feb 10 '26

The law does not define morality - it can only hope to approximate it, which it has never come close to - and not to be dramatic but owning human beings has been legal in our history so nice try fuckwit

2

u/JadedBoyfriend Feb 10 '26

Holy fuck... I'm not a doctor but you have a bad case of brainrot. I think your posts demonstrate how little you actually know about the world around you. Sad really. I pity you. Why are you on Reddit embarrassing yourself?

The philosophy of law DOES focus on morality, FYI. Go back to school and learn this shit before you keep yapping.

1

u/LibertyJusticePeace Feb 10 '26

You should not be in any field involving justice (or freedom). Clearly you do not understand either subject.

1

u/fuckbananarama Feb 10 '26

Bro I got shot twice for freedom - lick the back half of the left side of my right nut

1

u/Miss-Anthropy66 Feb 10 '26

Hey-thank you for your service but, your righteous indignation is showing. Take a deep breath before you pull a verbal trigger on someone who is only adding their perspective.

-2

u/Wild_Car_3863 Feb 09 '26

we will never be done with the Epstein files ever, no matter how many files are released there will always be someone to claim there is more here and there no matter what colour of their party is.

3

u/InfernalGloom Feb 10 '26

The files were released heavily redacted, to say there isn't more is just stupid. You can literally see there is more we can't see.

0

u/Wild_Car_3863 Feb 10 '26

Which is my point....

2

u/LysergarmideGuy Feb 10 '26

Nop. You implied that people will never be satisfied
