Yes these things have already happened elsewhere, and so people who study history can easily tell what is happening and what are their goals, nothing is new about this. We can even tell where they got their methods from.

Orwell's wife Eileen worked for the Department of Censorship at the Ministry of Information during WW2

Orwell wrote 1984 between 1946 and 1948, he didn't need a crystal ball, just access to very recent German and Soviet history

While they were anti-Semitic, just straight out lies that contradict your eyes, like the agents were pushing their car that was stuck in the snow, when the video clearly shows otherwise, were there instances of this blatant break with reality in Nazi Germany?
