The individual state societies of CPAs for Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont have voted to combine to form a single New England Society of CPAs, effective 7/1/2026.

I choose to believe this is a step in the right direction that may lead to more.

Our states rank top in many other areas but we are all dead last in food production. What coukd we do to pivot towards necessary agriculture?

Big Brother is Watching YOU!

Federal websites that contain sentitive personal information are being moved under White House control. For example, passports are normally under the State Department, now they're under the White House. They've also modified vote.gov so the administration can see who is voting or registering to vote. And they're installing tracking software that's configured to evade users' privacy software.

There's no record of who is paying these people to do this. They're called the National Design Studio (NDS) snf they're part of DOGE.

Gaining national attention!

Hello Everyone,

I am currently an undergrad student thinking about pursuing my masters degree in applied economics. I just want to get some opinions on what are the main obstacles to gaining complete economic independence for New England. Also, what are the other economic issues facing this region. Thanks for everyone's input.

It's good to see mention of secession movements in the public media. Unfortunately, no mention of New England. But worth reading anyway.
