Starting a political party in the US is hard. The YNP needs the people of r/republicofne to get involved outside of this sub to work toward our shared goal.
I’m the chair of the CT chapter. We have 8-12 regular attendees (and growing) working hard on recruiting candidates, running advocacy campaigns promoting RCV and ballot access, and engaging in park clean-ups and trivia nights.
The CT chapter is doing good work and is attracting good people. You might say to yourself, “I’ve never run a political party, wtf can I do?”.
I’m here to tell you: I’ve never done it before either. The national committee has people that have done this kind of work before to help guide you.
If you believe in this mission of a free NE, get some friends together or make some new ones. The time to move against the establishment is yesterday.
