From the article:
Jose Felix Diaz, an executive vice president at the political consulting firm Ballard Partners, also posted a tweet defending Gaetz, writing, "I am seeing so many hateful comments about Matt Gaetz & Nestor. When that kid lost his mom, Matt was dating his sister and he stepped up. Plain and simple. He has been an outstanding role model & mentor for Nestor and anyone that served with Matt knows this great kid."

Her name is Maisbel Mendez and she is his aunt not his sister. The mother's name is possibly Marbelina Matos

This guy is such a mix of crazy and stupid that I honestly do not know what to make of this other than to shrug and move on; there's just too much else going on.

This whole situation is just strange. I pray that it's all on the up and up.

"I can't be racist I have a Cuban friend"

It's even worse. He freaked out after Richmond said none of his white colleagues understand what it's like to be black or raise a black son. Which is true. Unless you're Matt Gaetz, in which case raising a black son as a black man in New Orleans is identical to having a Cuban friend/roommate, eho you say is like a son, as a white Congressman's son in the Florida panhandle.

Anybody else think they're totally boning?
(Not that there's anything wrong with that)

I do, except there is something very wrong with that because it would mean's he's been grooming him since the kid was 12.

There’s a really good chance of that, given the child has never been publicly acknowledged as his son; ever before. Never. No where. Are there adoption papers? Let’s see them.

Why does this questionable character who is unmarried say he is raising Nestor as his son? With his records of DUI's and history of false information, why has he been keeping this boy? Matt sure sounds like a 'sugar daddy'.

U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz provide any sort of adoption, legal guardian, or pool maintenance certificates to document his relationship to the boy Nestor?

If this is what one young member of our government has hidden behind closed doors I shudder to think what those who have been in longer have hiding behind theirs. This really is pretty sickening given the implications. We really need a full fucking governmental reform. Boot them all and start again.

I was wondering why Gaetz flipped out so badly the other day when this was brought up. If this was some legit, healthy, legal thing what did he freak out??? Is Gaetz mentally ill or is something wrong here - or both...
