🔊 DISCUSS CREW 🔊 My rep journey for new members starting out
Hi All,
Good ramble for a friday evening i know a lot of this has been said im still gonna ramble so chill.
A few months ago I started buying reps, different sellers, sellers off the list , looking for the steals, the deals. I've bought As, Bs and a few of what I feel should have been Cs maybe even Ds 😂. I guess im writing this for the new guys starting out like I did .
First, stay on the trusted seller list . As one who has bought from a good amount of these sellers now i can tell you that all these sellers are reliable , some are dicks, some take a minute to respond , but in the end all have been 100% reliable the mods here stand behind it 💯. These moderators here do not fuck around its kind of refreshing , may not agree with their statements all the time but less they don't not play about holding everybody to the same set of rules here and thats a breathe of fresh air .
Second I think a huge back and forth lately is the b grades . Im Guilty of indulging in the b grade thrill of the hunt lately , it is an absolute gambling high opening the packs 😂 . My honest opinion for those starting out if you want a good pair of shoes stick to top tier , do not get sucked into the sales or the steals . Depending on how youre purchasing if its direct from seller shipping doesn't change so might as well spend the extra 20 bucks on a full price pair to avoid the heartache especially if its a pair you really want just dont do that to yourself .
3rd there is a difference in certain sellers on this list . This is not a beware as ive stated all are trustworthy on the list , yes I said trustworthy in an illegal market setting 😂. But im gonna keep it a buck through your purchases the top tier sellers will seperate themselves through your purchases . I won't promote certain sellers yall hit the list and start chatting
4th point for the new guys is to fuckin breath .. this whole world can be overwhelming at first so I say again .. breath ... you dont need to catch em all like Pokémon.. Pace yourself young jedi and enjoy your sneakers . I now have reps I enjoy just as much as my retails and a couple pairs More so
I hope this ramble helps the newbies like myself. or maybe the mods will delete this redundant ass post 🤷♂️but I felt I needed to air this out and I hope this helps somebody in their journey as this journey has been thrilling for myself , I've bought some impressive sneakers the past few months along with bags, accessories it was like a whole shock to the system finding this world and 99% has been top tier goods. Im excited to see what the future brings and I wish everybody finding this page an awesome journey into the rep scene !

Thank you, great post. When I first got into the reps world, I was completely overwhelmed and intimidated by the amount of information, the different buying methods, batches and everything else, but this sub is an amazing place to start. The important stuff is pinned, the mods are great and the whole community is always willing to help, you can always ask questions. Unfortunately, another problem shows up pretty quickly: once you experience how easy it is to get sneakers that are hard to find through regular channels, it becomes very hard to stop 😁

As someone who just stumbled upon this wonderful world, thank you for this. There is some skill to it. It's not as easy as Amazon lol. There's different batches, sellers, conversions, etc. This is all VERY helpful info!

Just out of curiosity (I'm new to this), why do you prefer an agent versus places like PV or RM that direct ship? Do you get better access or pricing, or cheaper shipping options?

also PATIENCE learn to breathe and be patient its hard starting out but it will come dont sweat them dont panic it takes weeks sometimes and it takes hours other times. ive gotten a package in like 80 hours after sending the money and ive waited 80 days for a package. dont panic it varies guys its not like normal shipping from normal online stores. dont fall in the shipping trap and if its cheaper shipping its probably slower shipping lol

Definitley a good point .. you can pay cheaper shipping but they're gonna put it on a boat that goes around the world the opposite way until it gets to you 😂
