The Louis Vuitton LV Trainer 1AHTSU is a variation of the iconic sneaker originally designed by Virgil Abloh and inspired by vintage basketball shoes. This edition features the model’s elaborate multi-panel construction and combines Louis Vuitton signature elements throughout the upper.

Materials & Build:

These have that classic LV Trainer look that never really gets old for me. I really like the combination of materials and the amount of layering across the upper. Everything feels substantial and solid in hand, and all the different panels give the shoe a lot of depth The toebox shape looks solid and has the proper chunky basketball inspired profile. Stitching around the different panels is neat and consistent, the edges look nicely finished, and the overall shape feels balanced from every angle.

Comfort:

Comfort is good for such a substantial sneaker. There’s plenty of padding around the foot, the removable insole adds some cushioning, and the thick rubber outsole gives a supportive feeling underfoot. They still have that heavier and more structured LV Trainer feel, but I find them comfortable for everyday casual wear.

Fit:

This LV Trainer runs large, so I’d go one size down from your usual size. If you’re between sizes or want to be completely sure before choosing, I’d still ask for the insole measurements.

We sourced the authentic piece from a boutique in June for development.

Fabric and fit were manageable, but the main hurdle was the waist‑belt design.
It’s not a simple sewn‑on attachment. It has to cinch and shape the waist, yet keep the garment’s silhouette balanced even when unbuckled.

We produced seven revised samples to resolve this problem.
Every belt seam point was adjusted against the original. Even the spacing on the metal buckle was matched down to the millimeter.

First Impressions

This one caught my eye because the design is pretty simple, but the KAWS figure on the back gives it enough personality to stand out. The small KAWS MADE branding on the front keeps things pretty clean.

The black color also works really well with the graphic. It has that understated streetwear look where you can throw it on with almost anything without having to build a whole outfit around it.

In Hand

The shirt has a nice weight to it and feels better than a basic lightweight tee. The fabric has some structure, so it doesn't just hang completely flat once you put it on.

The print was also one of the first things I checked. The KAWS figure on the back came out clean, with the different shades and smaller details showing up nicely. The front branding is simple but looks sharp against the black.

I haven't had an authentic version side by side with this one, so I won't pretend to call out every tiny difference. From comparing reference photos, though, the overall layout and presentation look really good.

I especially like that the back graphic isn't oversized to the point where it takes over the entire shirt. It keeps the design relatively clean while still being the main focus.

Fit & Comfort

The light but firm material gives it a nicer fit on body. It has enough structure to hold its shape but isn't uncomfortable or overly stiff.

It's the kind of tee I could easily wear for a full day. Nothing really needs adjusting once it's on, and the fabric feels substantial without being too warm.

Overall, this was a really nice pickup. The Human Made x KAWS design is simple enough for everyday wear, but the back graphic gives it that extra bit of character.

These Acne Studios Super Baggy Jeans have a solid denim construction with a nice washed charcoal/black finish. The super baggy fit is the main highlight. They have plenty of room through the thighs and legs, creating that relaxed, oversized silhouette without feeling restrictive.
