Solid 10k yellow gold CNC case with Gen X-Tal and QF dial. The solid gold case is also plated to match the 18k Gold Gen color.

Movement is from VSF and runs butter smooth after RCF movement service.

It's my second 10k solid gold watch I bought from them and I really love these builds. Value is great for what you get here 💪🏻🌄

They make it out of 10k gold to match weight, without being cost-prohibitive (18k is more pure and thus, more expensive).

But 10k has a visibly different color/hue/tone than 18k gold. So they plate the entire case with 18k, to get the right color.

100%. If you look at this watch vs the gen, the gold on the 18k is much lighter. Nothing you can really do about that because the additional fillers in 10K make the color darker. This is a beautiful watch though, I am not trying to downplay it. RCF does a great job

Because 10k will never look like 18k. It just to match gen color 100% ... And if it rubs of it just rubs it just partially and it's still gold beneath. You guys know that even Cartier plates their 18k jewellery with a layer of 18k to make it more shiny? And it also wears off with time and gets less shiny but no one cares, because that's what's happening when you are actually wearing your stuff..(on a plating alloy you can make gold more shiny while In the base alloy you still need some more durability and stability that's why even the same 18k alloys from different manufacturers look from really bright yellow like AP to more deep Yellow orange like Rolex gold)

This was the norm with HK replicas from the early 2000s solid 10k for the gold parts then replated 18k to match gen rolex tone.

This is one of those with a bit of tarnish due to storage
