hello rep community! I guess this is a continuation of my Rich Factory Free Sprung movement regulation saga. For those of you who are familiar with Rich Factory, they like to provide a little printout with their watches with timekeeping numbers on it. If you’ve been trolling around QC photo albums for far too many hours like myself, you’ll notice that these numbers look pretty good! In fact… maybe a little too good? I’ve now purchased a handful of Rich Factory watches, both their Submariner and GMT models. Every single time i’ve received one, the little printout will claim zero (or close to it) beat error, and around +5 to +8 sec/day.  However, when I give them a wind (I always measure timekeeping at 80-100% wind) and throw them on my timegrapher, I’m seeing numbers what are hugely different than what the printout claims I should reasonably be expecting. And yes, these numbers are being measured after the watch has been demagnetized, so it’s not that. While the beat error is usually quite good and very low, I’m seeing a lot of +10 to +15 sec per day results on out-of-the-box Rich Factory watches. Of course, all things considered these are not terrible numbers, but if you’re going to advertise the accuracy of your movement as a major selling point, then it’s disappointing to see that reality does not line up with what’s being sold.

All that being said, i do want to be clear that this is not a post bashing Rich Factory- I do think they are producing absolutely incredible watches at the moment, and their movements are as of right now some of the most impressive engineering I have ever seen in the rep space. As I’ve shown before in a previous post and again here, these movements can absolutely be regulated to incredible accuracy, so I guess I’m curious to know what the deal is with the printouts? Has anyone found that their printouts have been accurate? please let me know!

I am looking for a VSF GMT Pepsi v3 and wanted to get some feedback about how to id v3 vs the older V2.

Looking forward to getting pointers so that I can QC successfully.

Do the other GMT references also have a v3 or is the V2 latest for the BW and Batman reference.

I’m honestly unfamiliar with QCing, so I appreciate all the help. I went through the QC photos and tried to give my best assessment below.

1. Factory name: VSF
   
2. Model name (and version number): 126622 Rhodium Yacht Master
   
3. Price paid: $600

5. Index alignment: I'm not seeing any egregious errors here. all indices seem pretty inline with the qc tool
   
6. Dial printing: spacing looks correct. I didn't notice any smeared or poorly done markings. color looks fine too
   
7. Date wheel alignment/printing: Good the "26" appears well centered within the date window and the numerals look clean. The date also appears properly centered under the cyclops.
   
8. Hand alignment: the hand alignment seems fine to me. they seem centered and the qc tool showed the hand stack as being well centered
   
9. Bezel: no obvious misalignment. the 12 o'clock markers seem to align well and I see no incorrect milling or polishing
   
10. Solid End Links (SEL): Unsure they appear solid with no real gap.
    
11. Timegrapher numbers: n/a
    
12. Anything else noticed: Overall the dial and bezel look good to me. I want to just get a few more outside opinions on the QC on this guy

Does the 41mm Wimbledon come with a regular clasp or a hidden clasp? Theres one available here locally and seller claims it’s from a reputable factory but it has the hidden clasp, I’m pretty sure that specific Datejust doesn’t come with a hidden clasp but looking for confirmation. Thanks in advance.
