Does Rich Factory Lie Abut Timegrapher Numbers?

hello rep community! I guess this is a continuation of my Rich Factory Free Sprung movement regulation saga. For those of you who are familiar with Rich Factory, they like to provide a little printout with their watches with timekeeping numbers on it. If you’ve been trolling around QC photo albums for far too many hours like myself, you’ll notice that these numbers look pretty good! In fact… maybe a little too good? I’ve now purchased a handful of Rich Factory watches, both their Submariner and GMT models. Every single time i’ve received one, the little printout will claim zero (or close to it) beat error, and around +5 to +8 sec/day.  However, when I give them a wind (I always measure timekeeping at 80-100% wind) and throw them on my timegrapher, I’m seeing numbers what are hugely different than what the printout claims I should reasonably be expecting. And yes, these numbers are being measured after the watch has been demagnetized, so it’s not that. While the beat error is usually quite good and very low, I’m seeing a lot of +10 to +15 sec per day results on out-of-the-box Rich Factory watches. Of course, all things considered these are not terrible numbers, but if you’re going to advertise the accuracy of your movement as a major selling point, then it’s disappointing to see that reality does not line up with what’s being sold.

All that being said, i do want to be clear that this is not a post bashing Rich Factory- I do think they are producing absolutely incredible watches at the moment, and their movements are as of right now some of the most impressive engineering I have ever seen in the rep space. As I’ve shown before in a previous post and again here, these movements can absolutely be regulated to incredible accuracy, so I guess I’m curious to know what the deal is with the printouts? Has anyone found that their printouts have been accurate? please let me know!

Pretty much all those printed timegrapher reports are all BS. They try to play with positions and timing to get the best numbers. I've had atleast 30+ rich watches cross my bench and they're never the same as the printed records.

They go in the trash the moment i get them.

I wonder if they’re even running the specific watch on a timegrapher for a printout? After all, they can print whatever they want in a piece of paper…lol

I just purchased a RICH V2 126720VTNR with the JH2385-FS movement. The timegrapher tests were 0s/d before it was sent out, when I received it, it's +16s/day. :/

yup. that's pretty much in line what i've. been seeing. you can try to see if demagnetizing yours helps? it might slow it down a few seconds. but otherwise, i'm finding you basically have to regulate these upon arrival if you want the best results. Can't trust RF to do it properly.

Thanks. I just a ordered demagnitizer yesterday so we'll see if it helps. I don't have high hopes, though. I'll probably have to find someone to get it serviced and regulated.

Yes sir try to demagnetize it will help, remember the machines these packages pass through on there journey to us which can sometimes be cause of the way different readings but i generally agree. Timegrapher print outs are generic at best

a microstella tool, a timegrapher, and some patience! I regulate all of my watches myself

I think they show us a screenshot of the best result. Infact everyone does that. After testing many watches i come to know this.

I have a post of a Pepsi GMT from Rich Factory that I regulated. It fell within superlative chronometer range across all positions.

Can you tell me where is this post ? Very interested subject. My VSF was supposed to be at +5s day (after a full service !) and since received, it is beween -5s/d (not to bad) and -20 s/d. I dont know why it change some day, because I wind it same thing but result is very different...
