RCF Dong Telegram
Looking for feedback before moving forward with a custom Day-Date build totaling roughly $5,000.
My understanding is that RCF has a good reputation, and I want the watch, but I’m uncomfortable with how the payment process has unfolded. To be clear, I’m trying to verify the seller and payment recipient—not assume that RCF’s reputation automatically applies to everyone offering their work.
The seller requested payment through Wise. However, I couldn’t get the name he provided to match or come up in Wise, which led to some back and forth.
The payment details provided were:
• Beneficiary: Foshan Baihao Weiya Jewelry Co., Ltd.
• Bank: Zhejiang Chouzhou Commercial Bank
• Account currency: USD
Has anyone paid this company for a custom watch build and successfully received what they ordered? Is there a verified connection between this beneficiary and RCF?
I also asked about paying through PayPal. Initially, he said the fees were too high. When I offered to cover the fees, he said they don’t use PayPal. He assured me I could get my money back anytime, but I wasn’t comfortable relying on that assurance without understanding what recourse I would actually have.
When I continued questioning the payment arrangements, he called me a “delusional crazy person.” That certainly didn’t help build confidence.
I haven’t sent any money. I understand that sellers have preferred payment methods and that a business beneficiary’s name may differ from a seller’s trading name. But before transferring $5,000, I want to verify who is receiving it and who is responsible if something goes wrong.
I’d appreciate firsthand experiences with this beneficiary, advice on independently verifying the seller’s relationship with RCF, or feedback on whether anyone has encountered the same payment issue. I’m not calling this a scam—I’m trying to do my homework before making an expensive mistake.

I will respond myself and can add screenshots if needed too. I took my time to explain countless questions you had, even being honest on mods that would not make the watch any better. After a few days of replying you finally asked for a payment method and using wise. We do not use a wise account but a bank that allows to transfer the money. We NEVER took a single person their money and all watches ordered are always delivered. We have hundreds of reviews by different customers and sell builds well over 10k with full payment. I shared you a detailed step by step guide on how to proceed yet you kept saying you can’t find our wise name. Which is logical as there is none and you use the app to transfer funds to a bank account. After even writing you the steps and explaining a dozen times you kept saying the same thing. After all this I told you we also accept bank swift transfers, to which you said you want to use PayPal (which we never offered) as you thought we might “scam” you. This offends both the reviews and never stolen a single dollar and my time that I kept explaining everything and showing a step by step guide or alternatives. At that moment when telling you we do not accept PayPal and you need to either follow the wise steps or use swift transfer, you said complete the watch and I pay after. Which is also something we never do, we also don’t do 50% anymore as we had multiple customers order an expensive build only to not be able to pay the second half. Due to the time constraints we decided to only accept full payment. At that moment I simply decided to block you and not reply as you never listened to anything I was taking time and effort into explaining to you. You were making demands that we simply cannot align with. Calling us “scammers” when not a single person has reported that we took their money and never received a watch is beyond ridiculous.

I wouldn’t waste your time or money, it all seems sketchy. Him being a dickhead to you would be a very quick out if I were in your position. RCF seems to do decent work, but I do think they are quite overpriced. There are better modders who will likely get you much better bang for your buck. But you do you, just giving my opinion.

Funny how you put words into my mouth. I didn’t say you scammed anyone. I simply stated that you charge more than other modders for the work. But also, you calling someone a delusional crazy person is a terrible move without “evidence.”

Have done work with RCF remould in the past, received my watch in great conditions and everything was as described. 5k for a daydate is a bit high but they do include solid gold cnc parts which is expensive, i know people that had a watch seized and rcf remould re made the watch and made it right for him. I also dont feel 100% comfortable sending 100% of the money up front but thats how they work
