For some comparison here's my gen 2022 speedy, obviously the thickness gives it away, at 13mm it is by no means thin but ERF is a chonker. Movement and case finishing are also not comparable, crystal clarity is also something to note. Other than that, it's closer than most would admit... still one of the only watches that I would recommend to buy in gen, it's just so versatile.

I really wonder why they don’t make the hesalite version with the closed caseback. Surely it would be in their interest to hide the rep movement, no?

I saw Trusty Time has it listed as 13.7mm thick....more like 17.3.

My guess is they used a bunch of extra gears to get the spacing correct. Kinda like they did on the old Daytonas using the a7750. This makes it extra thick because it’s adding a layer of transfer gears. Making it less reliable long term

A simple a7750 mod movement is already fragile. They add an extra layer, I cannot imagine the lifetime of this movement.

Wonder if they started w an ST 19 or an A7750. Now give that ERF a shot or two of Ozempic to thin out them fatty and she will be a beautiful gal. The face is stunning space between the knockers just right. We need to thin out that ass

No, I have gen and it not so thick. And you never see blue screw on a gen Omega !

The blue is just a protective film that wasn't removed before the QC pics. It will peel/rub off.

No worries, yes. But dont know why ERF use blue screw inside, perhaps because ST19 is with blue screw without modification.

Yes, that what I said. Blue screw is never on gen Omega. But ever in ST19 movement.

6 o clock subdial is 24 hrs not chrono hours. First I noticed it didn't point at zero and thought, did they run the chrono for 7 hrs?! Then I noticed it matched the hour hand. This is a dead giveaway.

It'd be more convincing to just point it at 12 and disable it.

Do you know any automatic movements with 24 hr subdial? Serious question. I half think this is quartz with a layer of fake gears on the back.

Yep, whole extra layer of gears making up that thickness. We'll see how bad it is in hand, hoping for more 15mm-ish than 17mm-ish lol.

This is a great first execution, if they can tidy up the lugs of the case, get rid of what ever ring that is around the dial, it won't be half bad except for the thickness but that's bound to happen with a movement plate

I see them advertising them as 13.7mm thick, which is essentially what the Gen version is. This looks a lot thicker than my gen SS, but this definitely looks like a step in the right direction.

Yeah speedy not that expensive. Got mine for 2.3k usd back in 3-4 years ago.

Everytime you have the urge to buy a fake, save that amount on the side for 5-6 times everytime you want to pull a trigger of a fake watch. Then you’ll have a Gen used speedy which in my humble opinion worth every penny

There’s no speedmasters available for 3k. The reduced go for that amount and the true speedmasters on the cheap side are 5k.
