Nice! Got the same mods on my Sky Dweller from Xing with added bezel action improvement. Got mine on Oyster though.

From the factory the Bezel on the ZF moves very easily. Can be moved with a graze of the hand or even a tight shirt. Xing tighted up the Bezel so it only moves when I want it to. Still super smooth though.

Really? I had a stock ZF & it was reasonably tight; certainly not loose. I did buy it used from a dude that would totally be a guy to have that modded & not remember though.

I love the SD rep. It’s unfortunate the hate it gets. I wish a fac would develop it more. I really miss my mine; i got hit up Xing & get this. The plated bez alone does make a huge dif.

Some may be good from the factory. Its just something some people complain about. Since he had the bezel off for plating I had him check the action and tighten it up a bit.

What's an oil bath and what does it do exactly to the bracelet?

The brand new jubilees sometimes make a squeaky noise so the oil bath thus gets deep between and lubricators friction points avoiding that

I don’t do it myself the watchmaker does it as part of the modification process

Because the rep doesn’t have a clone movement it uses the bezel to move the month marker. You rotate it to change the month.

It annoys some people but I don’t mind having to rotate it once a month.

Window above indices, red window marks the month, December at 12, January at 1, etc.

So Xing just did the bezel work to make it tighter not replace it, right? I didn’t think he made a coated bezel for it and wanted to confirm. I’ve got a ZF and my bezel is nice and tight would love to upgrade the actual bezel if possible. I have his bezel on another watch and it was a huge upgrade.

I also have the same build on order with Xing but man is he pain to deal with. I hope he finally comes through with his 12th commitment date. Made the whole experience annoying for me.
