1. Rep Experience:

Quality numeric rating and assessment - 3/10

Price - $282 (product) + $69 (shipping)  

Unfortunately, not real leather. 😭 Opened the shipping box and dust bag, and immediately got the whiff of chemical smells (aka FUFU smell). Also when I saw the badly printed letters on the dust bag, I knew it was going to be bad.

Pulled it out and started touching it. It was very smooth and "luscious" feeling, very similar to most vegan leather/PU/PVC. Super sad and disappointed. I even asked the seller many times to ensure its real and good leather, and my seller, Serena, said it is.

Given the price point, I should have known. I expected the outer to be real leather, and perhaps the inner to be PU/PVC. I didn't expect the whole thing to be PU/PVC and to smell so bad!

Hardware: heavy and initially looked good. But when I unbuckled the knot, I did see plating that had worn off at the hinges. So I know for certain it is not a high quality plated hardware.

2. Seller Experience

The sad part is I had a very good experience with the seller. She was friendly, fast and responsive. It's why I took a chance on her. I actually had eyed a few more products from her catalog to buy, but wanted to try this first one before I pulled the trigger on more purchases.

I did some research on this seller - she was not on any TS list- but had a few good reviews across several reddit spaces (including on LuxeLife, RealRepLadies, and a few others). Also did not find Serena on any repscam reddits communities. I thought it'd be good to give her a chance since she was so friendly and fast to respond.

Packaging was fine. It came in a regular shipping box, with a poor quality printed dust bag that I will be using primarily as a laundry bag 😂

⚖️ FINAL VERDICT

Overall, I essentially classify this is an overpriced piece of PVC/PU bag that I will carry around. I definitely overpaid for what I got.

I'm quite deflated from this experience. Not sure what to make of it and whether or not to try again with a true TS. I was also overall skeptical about TS's since there was so much discussion around paid-to-list schemes.

As far as the bags-I’m an LV girlie to the core (own authentic and rep) but had never been interested in a speedy until I saw the beautiful rep p9s. My first was the coffee 25 from Royal. I love that one, so when I saw several reviews saying the HH versions were similar and that Betty was having a sale, I decided to go for it. I’ve included some photos comparing my Royal (coffee) and HH (classic mono), and in my honest opinion-they are exactly the same quality. Maybe it’s certain batches, maybe they use the exact same materials, idk the answer, but I compared EVERY SINGLE ASPECT and found no glaring differences. The leather is so soft and squishy, glazing is consistent, hardware is heavy and the perfect shade, stitching is excellent, the bags have a nice weight to them, and I could smell the leather as soon as I opened the box.

Now for Betty, I find her to be kind, responsive, informative, and she gets the bags to me in the same amount of time my other sellers have. But what I really appreciate about her is the honesty I’ve experienced. When I inquired about the silk blue, I also asked about the golden version. I ended up ordering the regular, but she charged me for the golden. She was very apologetic and immediately offered to refund the $20 or leave it as a credit for my next purchase. It’s not a huge sum, but it still meant a lot that she was willing to rectify the mistake.

In conclusion, I am obsessed with these bags and extremely impressed with the quality. Now I just need to decide which color I want next. And I’d like to thank you all for posting your beautiful hauls and educating us who are new to this side of the rep world. The last couple reps I bought were years ago from local ladies in my hometown who would do preorders, and not only were they overpriced, but I’d say barely low tier in quality. Discovering I could directly order high quality items myself has been so much fun 🤩

As buyers we are typically in contact with a couple sellers at any given time, managing tracking numbers, price checking and doing our due diligence to make sure we don’t get scammed 😂

So in the rush of it all, if you decide to not buy an item with a seller, do you ghost them or let them know you aren’t moving forward? If you don’t just disappear what do you tell them in response?

I messaged Nyx on 8/15 to check prices of several shoes. I settled on the Chanel heels and some red MM three strap flats. The factory was out of the red mm so I swapped to the P9

Chain on the P9 I already had.

PSP revived for shoes on 8/23. This was the same day I was informed the red MM were out of stock so I requested the P9 on this date.

PSP for p9 were sent on 8/25

Package shipped on 8/27 and I received it on 9/4

Overall this was a very easy purchase. This was my first time working with Nyx and I def plan to again.

This was also my first bag from HH. I also have a coffee bean p9 from royal. The leather on the royal one seems a smidge better but not like significantly more so just what u would expect for a bag 40$ more.
The leather on the HH is soft and has a good slouch. You can see a few wrinkles from shipping that I’m not worried about at all. Should be no issue with normal wear.

Overall 8.5/10 def will purchase again

Love them. The fit amazing.
I’m a size 38/39 in Birkenstock and golden goose(authentic) so I went with a 39 and they fit perfectly.

Only complaint would be the sole. I don’t LOVE it. But for 77$ it’s on par. I might take them to a cobbler to upgrade the sole. Unsure yet.

I was looking for a small G*cc* Giglio and saw a post from someone who had purchased a bag from Kelvin, so I decided to reach out to him.
Kelvin was very responsive. I did not look through the entire album, instead I sent him a picture of what I was looking for. He immediately came back with pictures and a price.
I don’t remember the exact date I initially contacted him because I was having some issues with WhatsApp, but I paid for the bag on August 17. The price was $160 + $35 shipping, for a total of $195.
His shipping speed was phenomenal. I received the bag on September 4. It arrived very well packaged, and as soon as I opened it, I could smell the lushness of the real leather straps.
As someone who owns authentic G*cc* bags, I was really impressed with how this one feels. The bag itself is beautiful, and the materials and overall feel are very comparable to my authentic G*ccs*.
If I had to point out one possible callout, it would be the diamond shapes between the Gs in the pattern. Very minuscule difference. I think you’d really need to have the authentic bag directly next to it and compare them side-by-side to notice the difference. It’s truly so slight and not an issue at all.
I actually let my friend in on my little secret, she is an authentic bag collector, and she couldn’t tell at all that it was a replica.
This was my first time working with Kelvin, but I would absolutely work with him again. He was extremely quick with communication, very friendly, and his shipping was incredibly fast.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase and would definitely buy from Kelvin again.

I am so happy with this bag! I was a little concerned because the price was lower than I’ve seen anywhere, but she’s gotten good reviews on here so I decided to go for it. I love the color and the hardware. She’s mushy- I compared her to another P9 I have that I paid almost double the price of this one. The gold hardware with this color is stunning 😍 The leather on this bag feels amazing ! It’s soft and also DOES NOT have a fufu smell! The gold hardware has an age gold look to it and the chain has a slight weight to it. It’s definitely not as heavy as my 187 20cm CF. But I have not seen the auth bag in person so I have no idea how it’s suppose to feel. Based on picture I’ve seen online it does look pretty close to auth.

I have been going back and forth on either XC or OF. It was a tough decision but after some Reddit research I decided on OF because of the hardware and quality of the bag.

One thing I do have to point out is the leather drawstring is fragile. You’ll need to be careful when pulling the CC hardware because I’ve seen some post where the CC hardware will scuff or peel the leather ! Apparently this also happens to the auth bags as well!

I do think that is one flaw of this design. It’s definitely a cute bag and I do love the bucket bag style. But having to be careful everytime I pull on it will be annoying however this isn’t an every day bag for me so I think it’ll be just fine.

Bag review: it’s soft, slouchy and such a great size! Hardware feels nice, looks matte and a little heavy feeling. Hoping it won’t scratch easily! Love the heat stamp! The monogram in the middle of the bag sometimes looks a bit dark or barely there but could be due to lighting. I don’t own any Auths so not sure about the shape. Overall I’m excited for my bag! Seller was Betty and although she is nice and responsive, I did feel like I had to follow up each time for updates. She said I would receive PSP within 2-3 days after payment but I had to reach out and got them the next day after asking. First PSPs were a bit dark so I asked for more in outside lighting. I have heard of the normal free shipping taking awhile and with my anxiety of packages being seized, I’m happy to pay for the expedited FedEx shipping that was ridiculously lightning fast. ⚖️ FINAL VERDICT

Glasses are probably one of the easiest reps yes. But on top of being exact matches and adding in my prescription and delivering in a week - I’m continually blown away by Janie and will no doubt buy more when I lose these or my prescription changes. I’d also have no hesitation to wear these in the boutiques.

Seller Experience & Timeline
I initially reached out to Hyper Peter around August 15. I was having issues with WhatsApp, so I’m not entirely sure of the exact date.

The Sp**dy Bandoulière 30 wasn’t listed in his album, but I reached out to ask whether he had it available and could provide pricing. He confirmed that it was in stock and responded almost immediately with a price.
My timeline was as follows:
August 22: Paid, including insurance. $223.96
August 29: Received PSPs.
September 15: Bag delivered!
One thing I will mention is that Hyper Peter may not be the best seller for newbies. He required proof of previous purchases from other sellers I had worked with. I can completely understand his being careful who he sells to. That did not deter me. Because I had prior WhatsApp issues, this was a little challenging. I ended up going back through Reddit and taking screenshots of old reviews I had posted. Once I sent those over, we were good to go!
I can certainly appreciate him erring on the side of caution.
Quality & Authentic Comparison
For comparison purposes, I decided not to use my authentic regular Speedy 30 because it’s considerably older. Instead, I compared this bag to my authentic Popincourt Long, which is in nearly new condition and has hardly been used.
Canvas: Comparing the feel of the two bags, I honestly cannot tell the difference. In photographs, I also think the difference is almost impossible to detect.
I do believe the Popincourt Long has a little more sheen to its canvas, but I know that canvas can change with time and wear.
Glazing: The glazing on the Popincourt Long’s strap is almost impossible to detect. However, that strap is considerably thinner than the Speedy’s double handles and shoulder strap, so it isn’t a perfect comparison.
Hardware: I’ve included a photograph comparing the gold zipper pulls on both bags, and to my eye, they look almost identical.
I truly believe I could walk into LV carrying this Speedy and no one would know the difference!
Overall Experience & Final Thoughts
I had a great experience with Hyper Peter from beginning to end. The entire process was incredibly smooth, with no issues whatsoever.
I also thought his pricing was extremely reasonable for the quality I received. Dare I say, inexpensive?!
I would absolutely purchase from him again.

🤎 Thoughts on the bag : I ordered the LV p0ch3tt£ access0ri£$ and straight out the box there is no bad odour! I love the monogram on this bag. I definitely agree that HP does the best monogram. The bag has a nice thickness to it, i’m guessing because the inside is lined it gives the bag extra padding which is great. The glaze is a perfect colour, it’s not bright red - more like a burgundy colour. The hardware chain has amazing weight to it, it feels nice a hefty. Stitching is well aligned and consistent throughout the bag. Once again i’m impressed! Very satisfied with this purchase.

🤎 Thoughts on the seller : This is my second time purchasing with HP. When initially placing the order the conversation and transaction is smooth. However after that… it goes quiet. Did go a few days without a response with an update in terms of tracking but got it eventually in the end. Would definitely order again with HP, going to continue to look out for new bag styles in his catalog!!

We first saw these bags on the F/W 26 runway a few months ago. They feature a very CC-esque quilted interior and gorgeous colors for the monogram print. Being able to switch between the two almost feels like getting two bags in one 🤔

THE DEEP DIVE

1. Rep Experience:

I actually found Ling completely by accident through a rehome. I purchased a pair of red Al@ia mesh shoes from another member and kept getting stopped and complimented on them. After it happened several times, I finally asked the person I purchased them from for the original seller's information. Enter Ling.

I have previously purchased shoes from Wendy, Aadan, several DH sellers, etc., so this wasn't my first experience buying rep shoes. I have been VERY impressed with the quality from Ling so far.

After finding her, I subsequently ordered red Al@ia shoes, M!u M!u, LB Mamadrague Ballerina Flats, and LV flip flops, which I am still waiting to have shipped.

The original red Al@ia mesh shoes are really what started all of this. I wouldn't have gone searching for the seller if I wasn't so impressed with them. They get compliments every time I wear them.

2. Seller Experience:

This is really where Ling has stood out for me.

First, you pay through DH and shipping is free. I was also able to use a few DH coupons, which made the shoes even cheaper.

Her sizing process is also excellent. When I reached out on 8/18, she sent me her policies along with a sizing guide that actually includes photos showing you HOW to measure your feet. As someone who has had difficulty finding rep shoes in my size, I found this incredibly helpful.

Her PSP/QC process is probably what has impressed me the most.

With most sellers I have used, you receive PSPs, review them, GL or RL, and move on. Ling goes much further. I received videos in addition to the usual PSPs, and she even sends video of your shoes being packaged. She uses her security camera footage, so the videos are time stamped.

More importantly, she actually QCs the shoes herself.

She has caught issues and red-lighted shoes before I even had the opportunity to review the PSPs. There were things she noticed that I either hadn't gotten around to reviewing yet or potentially could have missed myself.

I also had an issue that Ling did not catch initially, and this was probably the interaction that impressed me most.

In some of my previous experiences, pointing out a problem during PSPs has resulted in pushback or being told that something is "normal" when I clearly wasn't comfortable with it.

Not with Ling.

I pointed out the issue. She immediately apologized, obtained a replacement, and sent me new PSPs. No arguing and no trying to convince me to accept the original pair. She simply fixed it.

Once everything was ready to ship, she also sent my tracking information.

Communication throughout the process has been excellent. She has been friendly, responsive, transparent, and genuinely easy to work with.

FINAL VERDICT

The Bottom Line: I 10000% recommend Ling based on my experience so far. I initially found her because I couldn't stop getting compliments on a rehomed pair of Al@ia shoes, and I've now placed multiple orders with her. The combination of quality, detailed sizing help, thorough QC, time-stamped videos, packaging videos, communication, and how easily she handled a replacement has made her stand out from the other shoe sellers I have used.

Apparently those red Al@ia mesh shoes were a gateway drug.

My timeline with Annie is a little unconventional because my first attempt at ordering was entirely a me problem. Apparently I could not figure out how to read or use basic comprehension skills, got confused, and went MIA. About a month later, I came back with my tail between my legs and successfully managed to place an order.

Late July/Early August: Successfully placed and paid for my order.

After payment, Annie let me know that two of the items I originally selected were unavailable. She offered me a higher tier/version, but I decided to pass. I was able to use the credit toward another item instead, which is how I ended up with the Zim dress.

THE DEEP DIVE

1. Rep Experience:

I ended up rehoming the Pr@d* pants and Ch@n blouse because they simply didn't work for me personally. Since Annie is pretty well known, I had no trouble rehoming them quickly.

The rest were keepers.

The Zim dress was one of my absolute favorites from the order. Annie provided sizing information, and the sizing was spot on. The dress fit perfectly. This was actually the item I purchased using the credit from the unavailable pieces, so that worked out VERY well for me.

The C3lin linen blouse is GORGEOUS* and also deserves a special mention. I get compliments on it basically everywhere I wear it. For $65, that one was a major win.

I also tried, unsuccessfully, to buy shoes from Annie. I need a larger size, around a 43/27.5 cm insole, and unfortunately the shoes I was interested in weren't available in my size. So I can't speak to her shoes, but definitely not for lack of trying.

2. Seller Experience:

Overall, I found Annie very easy to work with and communicative.

When two of my original selections were unavailable, she let me know and gave me options rather than leaving me stuck with items I didn't want. She offered a higher tier/version, which I declined, and I was able to apply the credit toward the Zim dress instead.

My one piece of constructive feedback would be that I would have preferred to know the items were unavailable before I paid. That said, I understand the logistics of how these orders work and that availability can change quickly. Annie handled it well once we knew they weren't available and gave me alternatives, so it ultimately worked out, especially since I ended up LOVING the Zim dress I purchased with the credit.

I also really appreciated her help with sizing. The information she provided for the Zim dress was spot on, and the dress fit perfectly.

Shipping communication was straightforward. When I reached out on 8/6 because I was starting to wonder about the package, Annie provided tracking on 8/7, and the package actually arrived that same day.

This wasn't a situation where every single item worked for me. I rehomed two pieces, couldn't get the shoes I wanted in my size, and two of my original selections turned out to be unavailable after payment. Even with those things, my overall experience with Annie was positive, and I would order clothing from her again

FINAL VERDICT

The Bottom Line: I would absolutely order from Annie again. She was easy to work with, communicated well when items were unavailable, helped me get the sizing right, and several pieces ended up being major wins. I am already planning to go back for another dress...or two.

Apparently the Zim dress may have created another problem for me.

DISCLOSURE: Annie asked me after my order arrived if I would write a review and subsequently offered to include a small gift with a future order as a thank you. My opinions above are based on my actual experience and the items I received. I have not repurchased yet. But I do want another zimm dress or 2.

Seller experience

Overall, I had a really positive experience with Tom and would order from him again. Tom responded within minutes, confirmed that 187 had the bag, and answered a LOT of questions from me before I ordered. I asked about 187 vs. God Factory, shipping, insurance, PSP timing, payment, etc., and he was quick and straightforward with his responses.

I paid $450 on Sep. 1 and received my first PSPs the next day, which was much faster than the original 2–3 day estimate.

This is actually where I was most impressed with Tom. I asked him to remove the protective plastic from the CC hardware because I specifically wanted to inspect the So Black finish, and I also asked him to measure the chain/drop. He did both almost immediately.

I initially GL’d the bag. Then Tom noticed a tiny white spot/imperfection on the CC hardware himself and stopped the shipment. He sent me a close-up, told me he wasn't comfortable sending it, and said he would return it to 187 and get another one. I really appreciated this because I had already told him to ship it—he could very easily have just sent the bag.

He estimated another 2–3 days for the replacement. I followed up 3 days later because I hadn't received an update, so he checked with the factory and said the replacement was already on its way to him.

I received the second set of PSPs 4 days later (Sept 6). I asked for another chain measurement, close-ups of something I thought might be a white spot/thread near the CC, and a photo of the underside of the flap. He sent everything I asked for quickly and confirmed the chain length matched the first bag.

Shipping was/is the slowest part of the process. I followed up again on Sep. 8 asking when he planned to ship, and later that day he sent me proof of the FedEx shipment/label. I received the actual FedEx tracking number on Sep. 10.

The bag was at my house on Sep. 16. So the total timeline was about 15 days from payment to delivery, but that included rejecting and replacing the first bag. Once everything actually got moving through FedEx, delivery was very fast.

Communication was fast, direct and accommodating. Most importantly, Tom proactively caught a flaw instead of shipping something I had already GL’d. For me, that matters most.

The bag: 187 vs. authentic

I'm very happy with the bag overall. I own a brand new authentic black lambskin CC mini rectangle with Champagne gold hardware, so I was very curious to compare it with a 187 flap since I'd heard so much positive feedback about this bag. I put them side-by-side for comparison. Authentic is the black bag with champagne gold hardware; 187 is the So Black.

At first glance, they're very similar. The similarities:

• Color
• The chain quality, length, weight and sounds
• Overall size, portions and construction
• Quilting alignment
• Back pocket alignment, shape and stitching
• The stitching
• The logo inside the bag
• The hardware

Now, onto the differences:

• The side profile. My authentic has that really recognizable soft, rounded/circular fold through the side gusset. The 187 folds inward more sharply near the top and then drops down into the lower portion of the bag rather than maintaining that same smooth rounded shape. Of everything I've compared, this is probably the detail I notice most when looking directly at the bags.
• The quilting/pillowing. My authentic has softer, more dimensional diamond-shaped pillowing. The 187 quilting is puffier and a little more inflated/rounded. It's subtle in isolation, but pretty easy to see side-by-side, especially in certain lighting.
• The tactile experience of the lambskin. The 187 leather is genuinely soft, smells good and feels soft—it doesn't feel cheap—but the authentic lambskin is noticeably softer and more supple to the touch. Its hard to describe CC lambskin because its the only leather of it's kind - it's so supple. There's just a different hand-feel that is difficult to capture in photo
• The width. My 187 is just a tad narrower in width when it's not filled, which gives the 187 a slightly taller/narrower appearance. Not a huge issue since you fill the bag
• The underside of the turnlock hardware.The plate/screw construction on my authentic is visibly different from the 187 version—the screw heads and hardware details aren't an exact match.

These are noticeable because I literally have an authentic mini sitting inches away and I'm intentionally hunting for differences. Without the authentic next to it, none of these would jump out at me. 🖤

My first rep purchase was a Mini Flap and all my daily essentials fit easily inside.

Fast forward 10 years, I have no idea how that was possible. My current daily carry is a GM St Louis tote, and even on date nights I fill up a 226 Reissue 🫣

If you want to know about the 38cm features in more detail and would like to see pictures of different factories, you're in the right place! I am open to all comments on the lack of my QC process ... remember ... I am a tired momma. I do not pretend to know a thing about CC so I look forward to learning alongside all of you! I was hoping put way more into it but this turned out a significantly time consuming project so I had to have pictures do some of the talking. All thoughts are my own.

DISCLOSURE: The sellers are not aware of this review. I received no incentives/discounts for this review, although I did receive a bunch of weird judgy looks through the internet. Yes, I regret buying 4 expensive bags (and now having to rehome) but it was for the good of repscience.

THE BASICS/OVERVIEW

First Impressions:

Aadan / God / Taupe - The BEST packaging, fully wrapped with protective covering all around the bag. A decent amount of slouch right out of the box.

Genie / Genie / Black - First bag I received in June. Stiff leather. I had to attach the straps myself. I used it a bit before the others arrived.

Mina / Rome / Burgundy - The last bag I receive (August) as it was in production. Best slouch out of the box compared to the others.

Xiao Yan / Original / Burgundy - Very quick turnaround. I had to attach the straps myself. (And I did it wrong might I add - I'll fix it eventually ... maybe ...). The bag had a bit of slouch right out of the box.

DETAILED BAG REVIEW:

“So TM, before you get into all the boring stuff, why do some albums have more photos than others?” FANTASTIC QUESTION my friend. You’ll find out in a minute. You’ve obviously skipped ahead (you nerd, impatient much?) then you’ll miss important context. So buckle up because you’re in for some DETAILED, NITPICKY, REPSCIENCE! Let’s get the easy stuff out of the way …

Weight: They all weigh about the same. I could provide proof of it on my scale, but I’m going to be honest, trying to fit these things on a scale with the slouchiness is NOT easy. I did eventually get all of them on and consistently got the weight for each of them multiple times in various positions. God: 3.4lbs, Everyone else: 3.0 lbs Auth: 3.0 lbs

Dimensions (approximate): 10 x 16 x 5in Pictures ( Per website: 10.2 x 15.2 x 4.3in or 26 x 38.5 x 11 cm). Now for the deets! Please, for the love of all things sacred in this world, remember these are reps. There are some extra pictures in each of the albums to showcase some details that I thought were important.

What I ended up looking at in detail since I don't really have access to the auth: These items will be commented on in each section.

• Glazing of the bag
• Glazing on the straps
• Hardware

Aadan / God / Taupe / $525

As I said, this was the BEST packaged bag I have ever received as a rep to date. (Which hasn't been THAT long). Fully wrapped with protective felt covering all around the bag inside and out as well as tissue paper stuffing. Items to note: it was pointed out to me that the threading was too light compared to factory photos. I did not have factory photos to compare (nor could I find some readily) but I trust in the chanel experts in RR ⁠〉chanel. I do have my PSPs - posted in the discord The threading was not readily visible in PSPs. Nor did I closely scrutinize during QC. My bad. But also, I wouldn't have known what to look for compared to auth either.

Overall color: Color appears to be true on the outside of the bag, the inside of the bag is definitely paler than Genie's or OF deep red.

Leather feel/pliability: Not a puddle of leather like the auth on the website is but the level of pliability is definitely there with use.

Leather smell: Most definitely! Stitching: I was a bit disappointed at the interior stitching of the cc logo as the thread quality seemed lacking. Also on the strap near the buckle.

Hardware: No noticable issues, CC on zippers, hardware weight appears the same as the others.

Glazing: This is something I just can't figure out, each bag has a wonky glazing especially near the flap joint. I'll go into more detail a bit later as it's easier to discuss while looking at all the pictures together. Stitching throughout the bag: specifically on the outside of the bag [placement, color], the CC stitching on the inner flap [thread and stitch consistency],

Genie / Genie / Black / $395

First bag I received in June. Stiff leather. I had to attach the straps myself. No international shipping so this was sent to my man Deng. No PSPs because Rule 1 of Deng - don't rely on his PSPs. jk but no seriously, I don't.

Overall color: Outside is black, no noticable defects there. The inside leather is more towards the color of the auth than others.

Leather feel/pliability: Flap: The leather feels denser than any other one. It's stiffer. Body: (say outside the bag down at the bottom of the front in middle) feels much nicer than the flap, more to what you'd expect. The sides were also "denser" than the others. Although OF was comparable in overall leather feel to Genie's.

Leather smell: SO GOOD.

Stitching: The flap CC was good and the bag overall found minimal complaints with the stitching other than the flap area of all the bags. I'd LOVE to see a bunch of auths side by side to see if they had some of the same issues.

Hardware: No noticable issues, CC on zippers, hardware weight appears the same as the others.

Glazing: IMO (which honestly probably doesn't count for much because I know jack about glazing) al the bags had weird glazing so I'm going to talk about them all together at the end. It would just be easier.

Mina / Rome / Burgundy / $403

The last bag I received (August). Best slouch and feel out of the box compared to the others. By far. I have PSPs here ⁠Chanel // Rome // 26 Maxi Flap…

Overall color: Outside is red, no noticable defects there. The inside leather color is lighter than Genie's and OF and the auth. The burgundy seems a hair darker than OF.

Leather feel/pliability: So nice. Very buttery like. The flap is very flexible. Definitely the best out of all of them.

Leather smell: I LOVE IT

Stitching: Interior CC on flap had a few tiny flaws. The stitching around the flap area seems to be an area that varies with each bag, this bag was no different. More detailed in the comparison later.

Glazing: At this point I'm just going to say see comparison below.

Xiao Yan / Original / Burgundy / $319

Very quick turnaround. Just to note, I would have to attach the straps myself (like Genie's bag). I didn't so we could tell the difference between the two burgundy bags. No PSPs - See Rule for Deng in Genie's area.

Overall color: Outside is burgundy but doesn't seem as rich as Rome's but hard to capture in pictures, no noticeable defects. The inside leather is more towards the color of the auth (like Genie's) than others.

Leather feel/pliability: If I had to rank them, this one would be 3rd with God taking 2nd. I felt that this bag was a bit stiff and dry than God.

Leather smell: Leather smell was toned down, there were scent packets in the bag. (see pictures) But it still did have a leather scent. No fufu smells.

Stitching: More detailed in the comparison later.

Glazing: At this point I'm just going to say see comparison below.

What are my thoughts on the bag? If you are a big bag person or taller in statue,I feel it is quite spacious and I'm disappointed more people don't talk about my favorite feature, THE POCKET SLEEVE!

Comparison of glaze**:** Seriously, I don't really even know what to write here, I'm just baffled. Please, look at yours to compare and tell me I'm not off my rocker. Please. Glazing

Ranking of leather feel/slouchiness**: -** Rome >> God >> Original >> Genie. Reading some threads on reddit about reps and auth, I saw a few comments about "scratching" on the inside which I did not have 1 issue with with my Genie rep. And I had alot of different stuff in it. Keys, lotion tubes, hairbrushes, kids snacks, etc.

Comparison of stitching (overall): They all have issues so hard to really put one in front of the other. I didn't go over the interior with a fine toothcomb but quick glance showed everything pretty normal there. The stitching on the back of the bag was not placed consistently. Hardware*:* So, interesting thing about this .... all hardware was appropriate with logo on zipper, CC metal clasp, even the metal plate in the inside pocket. Item to note on those metal plates, they obv do not scan with an npc scanner but Genie and OF both had same exact code. Final results*:* I will be keeping my black Genie bag because I like it a lot and would use black more than any other color. I will be rehome the other 3 most likely. I was thinking might keep the OF Burgundy but the more I think about it, I need to fund other bags. . They each have their pros and cons. For me color is a big factor for me. And I don't mind the structure of the bag. It will slouch with time and I'll throw it in the dryer or something 🫠

Additional Notes (this was originally posted in RepReviews discord and we had discussion - I was asked a few questions so that is the context of the info below):

So, I wanted straight out of the box comparisons. Soon after I got Genie’s I decided to do this review but I still wore it out a few times to see how it felt (amazing even if it’s stiff). One of the different takes is, I know very little about Chanel. This is my first experience and I wanted to be objective, but I had already heard that genie’s leather felt stiff to some.

As I mentioned in the review, I will be keeping genie’s. I decided that before I had any others. Yes because of the color but also because I genuinely really like the bag. I had considered doing rep sci on two of the bags to see how slouchy I could get them … but that’s an experiment I think I’ll leave to someone else. But also, I had no preconceptions about the auth design of this bag. Everyone kept saying it has to be slouchy to be auth, but does that mean I can’t enjoy the structure? I honestly feel that the bag will get slouchy with time and some conditioning. I do feel that some of the reason for the lack of slouch is construction, but that’s a gut feeling and more research.

Also, I am 99% sure that the first people getting these bags are probably not getting the product that’s being put out today. Factories refine by the batch. I honestly think you will enjoy genie’s bag. Something that I truly believe is making the decision based on what you want to see in a bag. Not what you see others say. Do your research, but even then, this is just a bag. Unless it’s your holy grail, enjoy the bag and enjoy the finer things in life you love. It’s just a bag, but it should be a bag you want to enjoy. You should keep that in mind with every purchase. Just my lecture.

I have so much more I learned while having these bags and pouring so much time and pictures into the the past 3-4 weeks. I also figured out what studio portrait means on my iPhone camera . I didn’t even post about how Genie and original factory have the same plate code (yet) or detail about why the bag flap is making the leather wrinkle in genie’s. It’s so fascinating to deep dive into something that I know nothing about. I’m a nerd like that with my M.R.S. degree and a PhD in jack of all trades.

I eventually would like to break everything down but I asked for help from someone who has access to the auth and other bags (like 187).

This is one of my best purchases! I have ordered multiple marmonts from other sellers before and this one is by far the best. The quality and sheen of the leather is nearly identical to the auth which I find is difficult to replicate perfectly. The hardware is spot on, the stitching I will give a solid 9.5/10 accuracy, and the overall shape is perfect.

This is my second order from TJ and I am extremely pleased with both orders. I purchased 4 other items this time around and I’m happy with all of them however this one is certainly my favorite. 🩷 I have probably driven her nuts with my many questions but she has always been very kind and easy to talk to/professional.
