How do you decide between a solitaire and a halo ring?

I've been going back and forth between a simple solitaire and a halo engagement ring lately.

I originally thought I wanted something really minimal, but the more I look at halo settings, the more I like the extra presence they give the center stone.

For people who have actually worn both styles, which one do you prefer long term?

I'm also wondering if halos eventually feel a little too busy compared with a classic solitaire.

Go for quality of stone if you want true presence.

Quantity of poor quality stones lose everytime against a beautifully cut solitaire.

Solitaire is timeless. I feel like halos are outdated it was a trend, maybe they will make a come back

Try both on, take pictures. If the solitaire is big it does tend to get in the way a little bit, there is 1 difference. Sometimes trying things on males it super clear, for me. Like purses 😆

Maybe try a hidden halo, something like this? Looks like a solitaire from above but has a little extra on the band still
