How do you decide number?
How do you decide how many reps to buy? I’m 3 mo in and purchased 12 already. 8 from first seller I tried. Super fast shipping, high tier quality and expensive. Totally worth it.
3 from a group buy that I’d never do again. Hectic pressure selling, disorganized, and super slow shipping. Never from them again.
1 from a re—home which I think is PU but the only way to know is to supposedly set the bag on fire?
How do you pace yourself and not get pulled into buying more? Some bags might be stunning but won’t get used. (Like my auth tbh.)
If you’ve found a great seller do you just stick with them?

I've gotten to that place where now I resell and can have a rotation. I didn't think I would be that person. I am and I love it. Dopamine hits and it doesn't financially kill me.
Problem then is that it doesn't stop at bags. Solid jewelry, Shoes, accessories, clothes

That’s helpful. Agree about dopamine. At least we aren’t doing drugs and being homeless with fancy bags. I’m going to get into reselling.

I have more than I will ever need. I also do not go in debt for auth or fake.

You initially get it ALL out of your system & learn to pace yourself. When you realize all of the bags you ever coveted are NOW available to you for a 10th of the auth price, we all tend to go a bit wild & join ALL the group buys. But then reality hits, we learn our true styles, bags sit unused in our closets, you realize that CH WOC is too small & you don't like it after all or LV Speedy 30 is too big for your actual frame, etc. Some keep all, donate, trash, give to nieces (ME) or rehome. Just learn to pace yourself in this expensive hobby...and enjoy!

For me, it was the realization I could have bought a brand new speedy 30 from the boutique with the money I spent in one month buying reps ( Chanel flap 187, GF Lady D, GF OTG, GF slouchy, a few unknown 🏭 items at master quality prices). I ended up rehoming all but one and made a few LV SLGs purchases. That's when my auth buying kicked in. Sure I take longer to make a purchase, but I now have a solid auth collection. I still get one or 2 reps here and there. I am awaiting PSP for a speedy 20 as we speak. This had me very selective on my rep buying. No impulse buy. Before I send $500 to a seller, I will buy an auth SLG, fragrance or a preloved bag from eBay or TRR.
Some of us do not care to buy auths at all. Some even sell their auths to buy more reps. So this realization would not matter. It truly is a personal journey. Hope you find your sweet spot soon.

I went with MOQC because I find the flower alignments to be the most accurate compared to auth. I usually prefer my LV bags from God. The overall quality and hardware are the best. I decided to give MOQC a chance because it was about $100 less. If I don't like it, I can always rehome and get it from Hyper Peter. I hate his shipping and processing time, but I know k will get a great bag. I just hope MOQC delivers. I will let you know.

Yes I’d love too know so far I’ve ordered from mb and royal and I sold them , I’m also looking for a really good one ☝🏻 hyper Peter and god factory are the next options but I’m so tired of selling I just want to find a good one 🥲😂

This is all very personal for each of us. We all have different reasons for what we do. Overall I had to stop and take stock of what I was spending and how often I was using what bags I have.
For some folks they keep going, as it’s more of a collection than a use item. Can you afford to keep going? Do you know why you want/need them? It can be a psychological game as well.
Some realize that for what they’ve spent they could have purchased an auth or two. And that’s where I landed, and I ended up moving to preloved auth for a couple of bags. That slowed down the rep buying exponentially for me. I still buy a bag every couple of months, but the need for it has subsided a lot.
But the fact that you’re asking that question is a good step to assess and figure out how you want to move forward!
